Firstly nurses and teachers are worthy professions, with significant career progression and financial remuneration for the ambitious

But the concept of having someone without ambition or personal drive giving birth to and raising your kids because they only need to nurture ...fml. The impact parents have on their offspring is phenomenal

I never said they were not worthy. I'm specifically talking about financial success goals and picked a few women dominated job roles. Teachers certainly complain alot about not getting paid enough so I picked that as example.

A stay at home mother isn't raking in any cash and that doesn't de-value her in many men's eyes. Flip that around and you'll have a hard time women feeling the same about men doing the same.

All I'm saying is we value different things. Taking kids out of equation and you can expect there to be more equity in what both sexes being to the table.

Maybe their life ambition is simply to be a good parent (which I honestly think is far, far more praiseworthy goal, than simply wanting to climb a corporate ladder).
