Solid information. From what I’ve read tho, they have pinpointed plays where he seems to be only using one arm. Could be a real concern over the health.

Who should we be looking at for DC next year? Definitely hope for someone proven, ex head coach or established coordinator.

Giving up 3rd and 12 on a WR screen was bad, the fact they give up about 10-15 on screens is ridiculous, nobody sees it coming. Getting tired of watching CJ and our passing game continue to suck. Already got Foster, Tartt, Akhello, and Goodwin banged up and its only half, sweet. Glad we're up 5-3 but what am I doing watching this game. Imagine being the US and having to watch this team play the Raiders and Giants on national tv coming up.

Bye bye #1 overall

Thankfully we should still be able to draft a proper edge rusher wherever we pick.

There it is. We are garbage. I'm rooting against us all season. No point in cheering for a worse draft pick.

No question losing like that and to a team like that sucks but it's for the greater good.

I don't buy the theory that there is a losing culture here. The team isn't giving up, they just don't have the bodies and the talent and there is a big difference there.

The players are still playing for Kyle and once we get guys back healthy and add talent in FA and draft at key needs it will help us get back to winning.

I have faith in Kyle and Lynch. I'm going to closely monitor the defense situation though. I think Saleh isn't the guy to move forward with. Nice dude but not getting it done.

The Garcon cap hit will be nasty huh when we cut him?

Shout out again to lynch for sticking the team with talent across the board. The only injury that matters is JG as the rest of them are just guys. I’ll give Goodwin too. No the JMck as that was an inevitable.

Lynch about to really earn that suit he is wearing this offseason

I still think our talent additions with this regime have been much better than under Baalke but it's still early one way or another. It is very alarming how much the whole defense regressed. Can't imagine guys like Foster, Colbert, Witherspoon impressed so much last year are actually crap talents but we'll see.

But the other thing is our guys are beat up even if they're playing.

Pretty sure all of these guys are dealing with injuries of some sort

Staley, Richburg(finally missed a game this week which clearly had an impact), McGlinchey, Person - 4 out of 5 OL
Witherspoon, Ward, Sherman, Tartt(who knows how long he'll miss now), Exum, Foster

I don't want to make excuses but there's no question the roster isn't as good as we thought in camp and hopefully that opened up some eyes with Jimmy getting hurt. It definitely exposed some flaws and hopefully it will be a blessing in disguise. He certainly masked a lot last year when we won our games to end the season.

It's unfortunate that we're dealing with so many injuries on defense and the coaching there is suspect. Say what you will about Shanahan but he can produce even with less than stellar players. Now those guys may not be able to execute all the time but the fact that we're one of the top rushing teams with like a 60% Matt Breida and a beat up OL and no real passing threat speaks volumes. CJ appears to have regressed somehow. Not what's going on there, maybe too many hits got to him but his pocket presence is worse than last year. It's really bad.

I do think that Kyle and John will have a little more urgency in this offseason. They have their franchise QB even if he's still unfortunately inexperienced due to the injury and lack of early playing time but he's there. We'll have a high draft pick and still a good amount of cap space. Year 3 is definitely time to win games and I think they understand that. Year one the expectations are all about player development. Year two was expedited due to Jimmy but once he got hurt you knew the wins would be tough to find.

Year 3 - it's time to show improvement.

I am not really sure what to think or say right now. Injuries suck and do have an impact, but even with that they have no excuse why they are so bad. I hope to see some big changes the next few weeks. One being Mullens getting his turn at starting. Beathard just won't cut it at this point and should not be playing, I can't fully blame Saleh for the defense being so $hitty but I think he is gone at some point. I really hope they make some trades before the deadline.

If we can get anything for Garcon or Ward, we have to take it.

The team is really void of talent. I agree on Beathard. He is a lower tier back-up and has me wishing we had Hoyer. Honestly, the offensive line is strong, d line is average…need serious help in the secondary and with playmakers on offense. Breida is made of tissue paper and need to keep this in mine when we are shopping for RBs next year.

The issue with Breida is that he is not an every down back. They have played him more than they should the first few games and now he has lagging injuries.

Our fourth is basically the rams third…package a 2020 and we have a pass rusher.

Rams are in another league. We are the afc east essentially and rams will run shop for many years.

I would have accepted a seventh for Garcon. Wtf. Ward is leaving next year so any help there would have been great too.

I would've accepted a conditional 7th for Garcon. Considering 2 other WRs got traded though there may simply not have been any market for Garcon.

I don't get people being upset at Lynch not getting Fowler. Rams are in an all in mode. They can blow all their picks if it means of improving their chances of winning a SB.

We're on the polar opposite end of the spectrum right now. We're looking to have a top 5 pick, possibly #1 overall.

Fowler is entering free agency after this year and hasn't exactly been a super star. I'd rather we keep our picks and then take a run at him in free agency or another pass rusher while also dipping into the stellar draft class.

Rams window is basically until Goff comes up for a contract. I'm more worried about what we're doing and giving away draft picks for a guy who has 14 sacks in 4 seasons in the NFL before a very good FA and draft pass rush class isn't a wise move IMO.

We should've been trying to sell not buy.

Appears that Tartt and Foster are ruled out for tonight. Curious to see if Mullens gets the nod tonight? IMO this should be a win for us tonight, but with our luck this season I wouldn't be surprised to see us get beat.

I agree about Fowler. He's a free agent this coming year so I'm not giving up much unless I have a guarantee he will sign. Is he beating people easily or is he a product of great players around him?

I was hoping to get rid of Garcon, Ward, Armstead, and Mitchell. I'm curious if we got any offers? The teams who reported to have interest in Garcon all got better WRs in other trades. I doubt we got any serious offers. Would you offer anything other than a ham sandwich?

I hope Mullins starts. I just want to see what he can do as I'm a USM alumni too.

If we couldn't win last week I don't see why we'd win this week. We need a win but we also need the #1 pick
