I was surprised how much I enjoyed the finale, after hearing about how much of a let-down it was. HBO was never going to be able to satisfy everyone with the ending. It could have been much worse.

It was kinda comical though seeing Podrick Payne as a Kingsguard, given that it used to consist of uber-elite warriors like Sers Arthur Dayne, Jamie Lannister and Barristan Selmy. Then having Bronn as a member of the Council (master of coin) and Lord of Highgarden after he blackmailed his way into the position using a crossbow.

One of the more touching moments for me was seeing Brienne penning the heroic deeds of Jamie Lannister in the Kingsguard chronicle.

GOT was my #1, but after those last 3 or so episodes and witnessing so many inexcusable mistakes, and lazy writing, I have to put breaking bad back as my GOAT, and black mirror #2, GOT #3. That finale was so ****ing bad.

I hosted a party for the finale and the Brienne moment got one of the only two positive reactions for a scene from the group.

Really good scene tbh.

Same bro. Breaking Bad got put back in the lead after this season. Walt is the GOAT tv character. Tyrion is second. GOT has more good characters than any other show though. But BB had a better finish.

I would have instantly forgive them for all the ****ty writing for that.
