lol what did I do

Trust me man…it may be a tough pill to swallow now but if it helps us get back to winning it will be worth it. I really don't want to see another situation where we miss out on the elite guys who fit our need perfectly just because we won a game which in the grant scheme of things didn't matter.

We can't close games out because we don't have the guys to do it. Hopefully the late game collapses by the defense will give Kyle more incentive to make changes on that side of the ball in terms of the coaching changes. Only thing that sucks for us is that Oakland is so awful there's no chance at #1 overall and they're definitely taking Bosa. But until they actually do I'll hope that Gruden fuks that up as well. But if we stay at #2 overall(still gonna be tough to do as I think we win a few more games after the bye) we can get a nice trade haul for it IMO. I believe if we wind up with the same record as Oakland we'd get the first pick in round 2 as well which typically leads to some nice trade deals as well.

Agreed…we HAVE to hit on this draft class.

I also really hope we make a coaching change on defense. Second year in the same system and we're having so many busted assignments and declining play almost across the board from our young players.

Really hoping Saleh doesn't become Kyle's Greg Roman - a guy who is holding the team back but the HC just won't cut the cord.

Also hoping Thomas figures something out and we salvage that pick and Foster stays healthy. Also not ready to throw Witherspoon out the window. I think the kid has talent but needs to keep his head in check and not get so handsy.

I think you’re underestimating Grudens intent to burn that franchise completely to the ground.

I would not be surprised at all if Carr is traded and they go Hebert…use the Carr picks for other needs. That would be incredible!!!

I'm holding out hope. Bosa would be perfect for what we need. Elite edge rush talent. Better than his big brother.

If we're lucky maybe they go Herbert or go with Oliver thinking they can get one of the other edge rushers with the Dallas/Chicago picks.

Honestly i don't think so but who knows.

Bell is a hell of a talent but he's clearly looking to get paid. Breida has been great this year and obviously Shanahan though McKinnon was good enough to start in his offense. Could he look at what Kamara(taken with our draft pick ) and what Gurley do for their respective teams and want that sure thing? Maybe. They'd have the cap room but I can't help but think Bell doesn't have too much left in the tank and is a suspension away from losing a whole season again.

I think they play it safe and ride with the guys they have and maybe look at cheaper options or the draft. So many talented RBs taken outside the first round.

Would love to see Bell in this offense though. Fuking Raiders going to screw this up for us and take Bosa

I'm gonna be doing a lot of studying of Jachai Polite. The clips floating around of him are impressive but need to see the full picture but kid looks like a playmaker.

I wish he was a little taller but he's got good pop for his size and shows that great getoff and bend around the edge I loved out of Landry.

Seems like the only bright spot this year…

Per @PFF, only two NFL tight ends have reached 535 YAC since 2006 (Gronk and Kelce). George Kittle has reached that mark in 2018 with 6 games left to play. What a monster.

I watched the Raiders vs Cardinals game. Both teams looked like they wanted to lose that game. Gruden is pretending to be incompetent in hopes to get the #1 pick, or he's going to be a MAJOR bust in Oakland. I haven't figured out which he is yet.

We'll see what happens but I feel like unfortunately we have a couple of more wins in us. I almost wish Arizona won the game to go 1 game up on us cuz they're not winning another game this year. Even if Oakland was picking #1 there was always a chance Gruden would do something stupid and we could get Bosa at #2.

I really am going to be super bummed out when we end up blowing this and losing out on Bosa.

Dude is just perfect for what we need. Right up there as a pass rush prospect with the best of them in recent years. Probably only second to Garret due to his freakish athletic ability and size combo. Bosa's technique at his age is crazy. He should not be able to move like he does sometimes.

Better rusher than his brother imo. It's not a total end of the world if we miss out on him but if we're not picking top 2 we may find ourselves looking at a board which doesn't fall in line with what we need and the trade down options may be limited.

Getting that top 2 pick this year is huge. Either Bosa or trade down for a team wanting Herbert.

Should be an interesting game tomorrow as far as seeing our future IMO. Sounds like Garçon and Goodwin are out(hope everything is ok with his family) so expect a lot of Pettis and Bourne at WR. And sounds like we're finally may play Thomas inside more…hopefully he takes advantage of it.

Hate to say it but I'll still be rooting for a close competitive game but a close loss due to a BS flag. Really want Bosa but Josh Allen and Jachai Polite are guys I'm really high on as well if we miss on Bosa.

Foster is either crazy bait or the dumbest SOB around. Hard to see him making his way through this as a 49er.

There is a very small fraction chance he keeps his job. That's if they can prove the same chick basically stalked him and is pulling this false accusation again.

Of course it still shows the stupidity of Foster. If that was me as soon as I saw her I'd be out of there in a public setting with lots of witnesses.

He may not be a bad guy but he's a moron who can't help himself by making smart decisions.

Getting really tired of young and talented players ruining their careers due to stupid decision making.

The 2017 draft class is looking much rougher this year. Losing a first round pick within 2 years is not a good way to start a rebuild. Thomas badly needs to step up so we don't have 2 first round busts in one year.

JL has to prove himself in next gears class. Very eager to see how the offseason goes.

Not to sound like a dik…but I hope this personal matter with Goodwin is serious. Dude misses wayyy too many games. It’s still a damn job and everyone should be putting forth the best effort. I’m confident it must have been a serious matter for them to excuse him after he’s steady in TB.

Foster, what an idiot, although it leaves us with another glaring hole he wasn't producing anyway much, often injured and his life is a mess it seems, glad we just cut ties and can move forward.

No Goodwin, no Garcon, not like our WRs did much anyway but Mullens not gonna have much to throw too. Hopefully I'm wrong and we can see some young guys step up, we know Kittle will.

I honestly think this gonna be an ugly loss unless somehow Jameis goes full Jameis.

Agreed, although I do think he got into the endzone on that one drive where we had to settle for a FG.

I just think there are too many injuries right now to really expect anything. Getting a good draft pick and getting healthy for next season should be top priority.

Question for next season. What is Breida's role? McKinnon comes back and he was supposed to be the lead back this year. Does that mean Breida takes a back seat or has he played well enough that they try and ship McKinnon?
