in short (pun intended): HF shorted the stock cause the pandemic - retail bought stock in masses - HF managers didn't cover at first when they had the chance (Feb) - retail figured out HF managers didn't cover their short positions - retail now owns 85+ of the shares and shorts ave no way to cover without spiking the price (there is a TON more to this but this is the most basic explanation).

yes the company is garbage but people is in for the short squeeze

Wish I had a good position on GME to just sit back and watch the excitement. I'm on the sidelines on it pretty interesting situation regardless and may end up shaping some type of market reform.

Canada finally officially voting on the Single Sports Gambling Bill C218 today at 3:30 ET. Not sure if it will actually get done before close or not. I have no idea how long that takes. All signs point to it being passed easy but you never know.

Canada Gambling stocks looking good right now

Off topic and I haven’t been following at all hardly, but if it’s proven that there was a lot of fraud in PA is there a real chance of trump getting back in office? Or is the tour over

Because wasn’t there quite a bit in AZ or was that never proven

Pullbacks impossible. #inflationgang

Although there is a strong chance of a big pullback in August/September if current government doesn't push back student loan repayments. If they cancel we are legitimately going to the fuking moon. Venom was right DOW 40,000 2022 if that happens.

September is a historically bearish month I believe.

And it looks like UPST has finally decided to stop being a ******* and go straight. Let's see if there's follow through.

Saudi supply has always been contentious. They're not exactly the most trustworthy regime and were always thought to exaggerate their abilities.

One thing I can speak to is that light crude makes up a significant portion of their reserves. North America has for the most part depleted these reserves. Shale oil + SAGD would be considered light, however significantly more capital intensive.

Saudi's are able to drill holes in the ground and oil comes out with less intensive processing required. SAGD wells you need to keep stimulated or steaming or else the start-up time is quite long.

They also don't play by the rules we do. In N/A there is significant regulatory and environmental hurdles to overcome, if they want to build something they just do it. A project here has a lead time of at least 5-10 years before it's online.

No they missed. But they had 4.3 bill on their balance sheet. And 2021 expected 465 mill, and expected 1 bill in revenues by 2023
