What a waste

Rip.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

I've dug two graves for us, my dear
Can't pretend that I was perfect, leavin' you in fear
Oh man, what a world, the things I hear
If I could act on my revenge, then, oh, would I?
Some kill, some steal, some break your heart
And you thought that I would let it go and let you walk
Broken hearts, break bones, so break up fast
And I don't wanna let it go, so in my grave I'll rot

RIP

I don't really take any strong side on this, sucks he died imo, but for miscers to be turning on others and calling them racist for not crying about the dudes death is absurd to me, it is extremely clear why people would not sympathize for him, and let me tell you it isn't because of the color of his skin. I am not saying it's normal for people to be glad about it or celebrate it, but it's completely clear why some people wouldn't care and would hard oppose others for mourning him as if he was a saint...
Agreed.. if War Machine died in a tragic way, no one would sympathize. "Good riddance" would be trending.

Except WM didn’t show any inclination of trying to change himself.

I implore people saying “good riddance” to X’s death go through his social media over the past few months to a year ago. He was genuinely trying to change for the better.

I get why people don’t care that he died. I don’t get how people can be happy that he died.

Seems like every other week a rapper is either going to prison, getting out of prison, getting shot at, or getting shot.

I agree x was trying to change himself, however I also understand its normal that a lot of people won't care once certain things have been done they have past their point in caring. Look at WM twitter now, and since he's been in prison, dude is going full bible thumper and apologizing all of the time, yet I still think he should rot in prison, as does everybody else lol.

I like x's music too man, and it sucks this happened. But be realistic bro, it is clear and acceptable for some people to not care. The people who have done bad things and made changes are even able to understand that no matter what they do there will always be some people who will hate them for what they did.

For example, if his ex's parents were saying good riddance, would you be there saying "he was trying to change, etc" I know that is an extreme case, but I'm sure you can see what I'm saying.

People lack sympathy for criminals, it's not about him personally, or about skin color. I can promise you if situation was with a white dude yet he had the same criminal history, the reaction would be very similar.

There needs to be more separation between criminals and race... from both sides. There are obviously going to be racist people everywhere in the world, but both sides need to understand, people aren't sympathetic to criminals, whether you are black or white, if you are a criminal and you die to crime a lot of people are simply not going to care.

People have a right to say anything they want - that doesn’t make them right.

If WM died tomorrow, I wouldn’t shed a single tear or give two fuks. I wouldn’t, however, go into threads saying good riddance and that I’m glad he’s dead. As if I knew him personally.

Also, these comments are coming from miscers, not people that new X personally. All of his friends in the industry are mourning him right now. Even that fuk Russ kept his twitter fingers to himself about this, and we all know how he loves to stir **** up.

The same people clowning Michael Jackson during his trial were the same people mourning his death. People are more hypocritical that I like to think.

You keep repeating this and I'm really not sure what point you are trying to make. Yes, people in general will overlook all sorts of evil deeds when it comes to someone that they are closely affiliated with. So what, his sins are absolved because his rapper friends all think he's a good guy? This is a natural human bias: judging those close to you (including yourself) less harshly than you'd judge a stranger for the same crimes. Police officers do this all the time when they choose to back one of their own who does something that should be a career-ender if not worse, so what are you stating, that its no big deal when a cop ices some kid because he's got 10 other cops behind him who are willing to go on record about how he was a good guy and completely innocent?

He's saying it sucks there isn't more empathy for people who make mistakes, and die before being able to rectify those errors. That's it. I don't think he's looking to make people love this dude, he just wants to know there's some level of compassion out there.

No, he keeps claiming that no one on here can judge him because we "don't know him". Meanwhile his highly biased rapper friends are 100% trusted sources when they come out and state that he was actually a great guy, and thus everyone on here should look past his highly documented repeated criminal history, because his rapper friends who know him better are more informed than we are.

Like I said in response to that: you gonna give a free pass to every obviously corrupt police officer who does something reprehensible, but has 10 other corrupt dudes behind him who are going to go to bat for their team in defending "one of their own"?

forever signing off misc after reading this thread and actually realise how sick some of u fuks actually are. imagine being 25+ years old and making fun of and celebrating the murder of a 20 year old. a 20 year old trying to turn his life around (having charity events, donating money, trying to help people/setting focus on mental disorders/depression etc.). Yes, he was a dip**** and did deserve some severe jail time - but saying he deserved to be gunned down and killed is some fuked up thing to say. Two other examples of people who turned their life around at about 20 years old is The Rock and Mark Wahlberg, and all of u seem to forget their criminal past and adore them.

While people who have never heard of him but know how to google and read the first link popping up talk **** about his passing, people in the music industry say he will be missed, was a great guy and one of the most talented young artists (J. Cole, Kanye West, Lil Pump, 6ix9ne among others).

I don't follow the hip hop scene or listen to his kind of music, so can't say I will miss him in that sense. But will respect him for trying to better himself and helping others in need. So had to go on a rant after reading this ****ed up thread

Nah, nobody needs to honour his death. If you don't give a fuk about him there's no need to comment itt. All I'm saying is that "celebrating" his death is fuked up. I know some miscers are joking when saying that and that is fine tbh but some are srs about it and that's what's stupid.

Very poor comparison. X's job wasn't to uphold the law, it was to make music. He did some ****ed up **** and allegedly did some other ****ed up ****, but his music was what made him known to the masses. I never said to overlook his past discretions, only that he was actually trying to change. You can see it all over his social media and through his charity work and what not. He obviously didn't make up for any of his past actions, but now we'll never get to know how much more he can do.

He had so much potential to change the genre of hip hop and now he's gone.

Couldn't have said it better.

Like I said in response to that: you gonna give a free pass to every obviously corrupt police officer who does something reprehensible, but has 10 other corrupt dudes behind him who are going to go to bat for their team in defending "one of their own"?
Actually, my whole point was that miscers are on here cheering his death as if they knew the guy personally. I don't care if you're ambivalent towards the guy, or even hate him, just don't say "good riddance" as if he was some serial killer or genocidal maniac.

The miscers rejoicing at his murder are the ones who didn't even know who he was until this thread and are now experts on his life.

I'll say whatever the fuk I want about that piece of garbage excuse for a human being. He did too little too late and not enough to change the perception of what kind of person heiswas.

I did not see that thread and even I thought he was a libcuck but am I cheering he died? No.
He killed himself and even though he was a libcuck he is hopefully in a better place
