I'm watching the 'Banjo Bowl',the Blue Bombers vs the Roughriders. From Wiki……

The Banjo Bowl is the annual rematch game between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) after the Labour Day Classic.

While the traditional Labour Day Classic game is always played on the Sunday before Labour Day at Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field in Regina, Saskatchewan, there is usually a rematch on the following weekend between these two rival prairie teams at Investors Group Field (previously held at Canad Inns Stadium) in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The "Banjo Bowl" moniker was coined by Blue Bombers board member David Asper in early 2004, inspired by an infamous comment made by Bombers placekicker Troy Westwood in the week prior to a 2003 Western Division Semi-final game between the two teams. Westwood was quoted in the media as saying that people from Regina were "a bunch of banjo-pickin' inbreds."[1] He later apologized half-heartedly for those comments, saying that "the vast majority of the people in Saskatchewan have no idea how to play the banjo." Bombers placekicker Troy Westwood in the week prior to a 2003 Western Division Semi-final game between the two teams. Westwood was quoted in the media as saying that people from Regina were "a bunch of banjo-pickin' inbreds."[1] He later apologized half-heartedly for those comments, saying that "the vast majority of the people in Saskatchewan have no idea how to play the banjo." [2] This further fueled the WinnipegSaskatchewan football rivalry and has made the rematch game even more of an event. The game is sponsored by the Manitoba Lotteries Corporation. The game has been sold out every year since 2005. As of the 2015 season, the series is tied 66.

As on Labour Day weekend when many Winnipeg fans visit Regina to support the Bombers, many Saskatchewan fans visit Winnipeg the following weekend to support the 'Riders. Many come, tongue-in-cheek, with banjos.

Despite not being an official event, the Canadian Football League website promotes the game by referring to it as "Banjo Bowl" in some of its online coverage[3] as does the league's official television broadcaster, TSN.[4] In 2013, the Premier of Saskatchewan, Brad Wall, joined in the spirit of the event by posting a video on his YouTube channel making reference to the rivalry and the Banjo Bowl game.[5]

Edit;WinnerPeg has won it's 6th straight game!!!Swaggerville is back baby.

Friend asked me to go to Argos game tomorrow vs Ti-cats. I really don't care that much about the CFL plus it's $4 beers and there will be a ton of Hamilton fans, I don't want to get into a fist fight with a drunk.

It was so effin fun that my face hurts from laughing. And clenching my jaw. I had to clean and press an axle for reps… Never cleaned and pressed ever. That event almost made me die.

If you have the opportunity dude.. Do it. It is so damn fun. My last one, I had to do a pull of war. So i was set up in a harness against another strongwoman and we had to pull each other over the line. Then, when we were done, we all drank beer and laughed at each other.

not covering that. at least i don't think we are anyways. it's in less detail than undergrad too from what i've heard from friends that took it there. the speed is just insane, what we do in a week is what undergrad covers in like a 1.5 months

Lol I remember when I ordered my Galaxy S4 from Rogers years ago when it was new. They left that **** on the front door. $800 phone and no signature or anything needed. Got home late or I'd probably have gone around the neighbourhood getting free phones

Shipping across Canada UPS is the best but sucks international. Canada Post is second when not on strike. FedEx third I guess. Purolator isn't bad at times but customer service can be meh. Then DHL is last and can take a hot poker up the arse.

I've always liked CP's Xpresspost over any other courier, but usually if it's coming from USPS then CP it can be a couple weeks.
