you want leaps or shares?

CHWY is the move if we see a pull back to $78

WMT is solid now or if we pull back to $135

These will be long holds and will explode by EoY

Was actually looking at Chwy.

And right now I’m looking for leaps.

Reps of R/C, thanks.

RSLS keeps popping up on my twitter - need to do some DD on it

AMC's dilution is gonna absolutely annihilate their EPS and other "per share" metrics, from 104million outstanding shares in June 2020 to almost 502million right now

Although maybe this is a benefit when they only post losses? Now they're losing less per share

Actually I've tried to have discussions on contemporary macroeconomics but this thread seems more interested in momentum stocks/daily movers and usually ignores hence why you only notice me when I hurt your feelings

I very rarely post positions because the only reasons would be to:
a) shill
b) beg for validation
c) give advice

which I have no interest in doing.

Since you apparently want to know what I'm doing, here's what I've been up to since the 15th:

Rotated from SPY puts in SPY calls
Trimming my position since the 21st
Leaving a runner for small gains if we climb higher
Standing by for a pull back in growth or further dip in gold before I re-analyze and possibly re-enter

Closed positions:

Yeah, I’m continuing holding off on voting, have until July 28th.

It would help the company. A corporation like that can’t bank on a squeeze like we are lol. So I get it.

But I know what the media is going to do if it’s voted in. Could kill it.

No squeeze between now and July 28th and the set up and numbers are around the same, I’m not voting yes.

If we squeeze I’m more than likely going to.

Has anyone else received a phone call and not just email?

My bank calls should hopefully be up today, PM looks good. SQ Puts I hope start to print soon too. BB and Plug have earnings this week and are expected to swing 4-12%, I’m betting on them going up, have some limit calls for both that will expire this week. Also too, have pending calls on LZB. I made too many mistakes with AMC (forgot a stop loss trigger) and if I try to get back in now, cost basis will be tacked onto my losses and put me at like $90–missed that train, unfortunately. GME bouncing up PM as well. Hopefully a green week.
Week Update
  • SQ P’s not looking good, hedged with calls

  • Took an L on first BB C

  • 200% gain on PLUG C’s; then lost 50% of that with another PLUG C position that expired worthless yesterday—live and die by weeklies

  • LZB C @ 40 for 7.16 Brrrr — got out at 180% gain; I wanted to wait but felt like it may drop on Monday and it somehow made it to WSB, so I think it pumped with nearly twice the normal volume yesterday. This made me think that it will drop as well.

  • Bank calls printed too

  • Bought more shares of GME at $201 yesterday—position looking good, I have 6 shares at $308 that are dragging my gains down, take those out and I’m in the $180’s for cost basis. It blows my mind how it dropped so much on such little volume.

  • Outside of my SQ 7.23 200 P’s and 7.16 320 C (which I think I’ll dump for losses on Monday), I have a 7.16 200P on CRWD.

I think I may skip options for the next two weeks and either put another $5K into GME if I’d dips again—but also looking at OPEN as well. It dipped to close to just under $16 yesterday and if it dips again on Monday, may buy 3-400 shares and hold onto it. Any thoughts on OPEN?

I know I said I’d like to stay out of options for a couple of weeks; but open to some ideas of what others may be looking at—even LEAPS. Happy weekend!

Likely because the alternative is them not having enough cash flow to continue operations.

I shed a tear when I check this thread. Once a location for intellectual discussion, fundamentals, and portfolio/risk management. We had CFAs, economists, retired rich and living wealthy. Those groups gave life, investment, and wealth advice. Now it’s been hot boy trend jockeys that burn out poor and naysayers demanding portfolio returns.

Trust me, when you’re returning crazy amounts and have been posting your trades, it’s obnoxious to have to go through the steps of screen shotting plays and portfolios, uploading, etc. to demonstrate what you already said you were doing.

The hyper reactionaries in this thread are why people are going poor as fuk and why none of the OGs find it worthwhile to post.

Check the last few pages, when is the last time a serious analysis was shared?

I’ll blame Chino.

How’s that mma gym working out? Lol. My gym just hit 1,000 active memberships while you’re talking about learning German or some chit to open a rolling gym in the Netherlands or wherever on some crackpot dream.

What’s 1,000x$35 (members) 12x$150 (trainer rent) with costs $3k rent, $1k utilities, and $1k class instructors monthly x 12? Lmao.

People that talk and people that do. This thread became people who talk.

I've done some serious analysis. It just gets buried by new folk tryna ride the WSB waves. I don't blame them because it certainly looks like easy money especially if you've managed to ride 2 or 3 meme waves back to back.

Last serious DD I did was on what will be trading as PAYO starting Monday. I am nervous AF I've got like 20%ish percent of my portfolio in that bish. Will be something to watch this week as you might be able to get in closer to $9 this week.

If someone told you you could get into the Paypal of global transaction processing Sub $12 would you?

I’ll take a look, but I think it’s called MasterCard or cash. But to cut to the chase, what’s the moat? Can’t be tech, can’t be government connections. What makes it IT?

As someone that uses cash app, Venmo, PayPal, western union money in minutes, moneygram, visa, wire transfers, crypto, cash, etc., they all hold their utility and value in different ways.

What makes Payo special when there’s the hammer of regulation out there?

If you want a nearly guaranteed 2x over the next 5 years and no diversification to offset the “nearly guaranteed”, sure.

Their value is swapping between various currencies and getting integrated with a lot of big names while keeping their fees low. Paypal just raised their fees. PAYO isn't C2C they focus primarily on B2B and B2C. So if you want to fire your lazy American accountant and have some remote laborer from Pakistan do the same job for pennies on the dollar instead of trying to figure out a way to wire the money(which has higher fees and isn't convenient) you can use PAYO and they move the money, switch the currency, and puts it on a debit card for the end user to do with what they will. They are integrated with airbnb for example. So their primary utility is currency exchange for whatever goods/services you want. Look into their numbers- they look very strong/promising. Their moat are the platforms they are already integrated into. Ebay in China primarily uses PAYO- and now that PAYO has their foot in the door what stops them from getting further integrated into Ebay in other countries?

And they just received a big chunk of cash to continue to expand.

TLDR; any company that requires inputs from other countries(either goods or services) PAYO is the easiest/cheapest way to move the money and swap currencies and fastest/easiest way for end payee to access said funds.
