tfw only 4 players in the entire draft class haven’t signed with their team yet and 2 of those players are players we drafted.

Down to 3 now as Burns signed today but I’m not worried at all. All the CAA guys signed day of their training camp opening up. Bosa and Deebo will be signed and ready to go either tomorrow or Friday morning.

Only non CAA guy still unsigned is Quinnen Williams and Jets are already in camp so that’s an actual “hold out” but that’s on the Jets. Sam Darnold missed some camp as well last season due to their BS iirc.

The total value of Bosa’s four-year contract is believed to be $33,551,874, or very close to that amount, according to OverTheCap.com. That includes a signing bonus of $22,421,364 and a 2019 salary-cap figure of $6,100,341. Because of the CBA from 2011, all contracts are four years long, and first-round selections come with a team option for the fifth year.

That is a huge signing bonus. I guess I just do not follow the numbers that well to feel ok with it. Seems like a ton for a rookie.

Deebo is snow signed as well

The total value of Samuel’s four-year contract is believed to be $7,697,356, or very close to that amount, according to OverTheCap.com. That includes a signing bonus of $3,618,076 and a 2019 salary-cap figure of $1,399,519. Once we have more details on the contract, we will be sure to share them.

Called it. It was obvious neither side wanted this to be a story.

Hope both guys stay healthy and help both sides of the ball have more explosive/impact plays.

All part of CBA now, the numbers are slotted, just how they pay it out is really the question mark.

Stressed all draft process about not getting Bosa. Got him.

Stressed a little lately about Bosa not signing before training camp and missing valuable reps. He signed.

Now it’s time to stress about training camp injuries. Hopefully our worst injury is like Armstead missing all of camp.

Let's hope no serious injuries at all, especially to the guys we're counting on long term. We need some luck on that front after the crazy chit we've had to deal with guys like Willis, Bowman, the early retirements, injuries last year….would love to be the team that manages to stay healthy all year long save someone who wasn't a huge impact either way. Like Chicago went pretty much all of last year with their biggest injury being Kyle Long, who is a pretty good player but it wasn't Khalil Mack, their starting QB…etc.

First day of camp!

We start off by signing C/G Dillon Day. And Lynch says they are looking at another tight end (camp body I assume).

The only thing I see about injuries is that Mckinnon has a flare up and will start on the PUP list.

I wanna see every training camp headline start off with "no injuries"

Loved the reports from day 1 with Bosa and Thomas looking good. Hopefully both of them keep it up. I'm confident Bosa will make his way into the starting lineup but Thomas has a tougher road ahead of him due to the depth at interior rusher…just hope he gets the bulk of the pass rush snaps inside next to Buckner.

It’s exciting that training camp is back because it means real football is almost here but there isn’t much to learn from the coverage. Everything is always so positive.

They had the Cowboys training camp on NFL Network with one of their beat reporters and everything they were reporting was how great every player is looking and how confident the team is in all of them.

I have a feeling Soloman Thomas will be a TC darling this year. Not saying he won’t have a big year but he’s going to get a lot of love from reporters.

Pads on, boys!

Rob Lowder posting a lot of 1 on 1 clips. Big takeaway is Spoon looks good and hungry.

Also, Jimmy hit Richie James for a 70 yard perfect bomb for the first pass of practice.

If Spoon can step up this year like we were hoping last year and we got an improved version of Sherman and a healthy version of Verrett…with this DL and Warner and Alexander this D can be really exciting to watch.

Football is back boyos! Looking forward to a healthy season. If Jimmy and Co can stay healthy, we'll definitely be making some noise this year.

I expect the defense will be greatly improved. The additions of Ford and Bosa will be huge. Hopefully what we've been reading about Sully's mental health will get results on the field. We still got Armstead, DJ, and Street too!

I feel the additions on the edge will be a force multiplier and the whole defense will take a big leap.

Not only that, if our offense practices against what I expect to be a top 5 defense, they will only get better too.

First impressions from camp so far were that the offense was a little flat, but thats to be expected IMO. The defense will always have a leg up at the beginning. Nice little note today about Jimmy looking good tho. Cant wait for the season to start!

Those are high expectations. Our D line has all the potential in the world to be elite but after that there’s a lot of question marks.

I think it’s much more likely that the offense is top 5 than the defense. Just remember that the Chiefs had Justin Houston, Dee Ford and Chris Jones on their D line last year and their defense was awful. I like our linebackers slightly more and I think Sherman can still be great but there’s still so much unknown.

I don't like to overreact to training camp/preseason one way or another…BUT

If Dre Greenlaw keeps showing good things it would be really exciting.

Great read about the kid here.

https://www.sacbee.com/sports/nfl/sa...233278401.html

Now I am slightly concerned that our guys are all on the smaller side. Between Greenlaw, Warner and Alexander none of them hit 240 lbs but if they're running around like crazy and making tackles it won't matter as much if they can't drive through 230 lb running backs all the time.

We've certainly seen late round LBs turn into great players and this kid is super easy to root for with his background. Would be awesome if he could be our George Kittle of this draft(but hopefully with much better returns from the earlier picks in this class)

We really need this draft class to be our Seahawks 2012 class impact.

Man, I’m rooting hard for Greenlaw. Problem for him in college was getting through blocks. Once a lineman gets on him it’s over. With the way the game is changing there’s hope that smaller linebackers are more desirable. And hopefully our D line is so impactful that we our linebackers will be able to fly straight to the backfield.

With all the positives about Greenlaw, wonder why he didn't have more of a stellar career at Arkansas? Yes he started as a true freshmen but his he never really became dominant for whatever reason.

Makes me think how many other guys had pedestrian college careers who later became stars in the NFL?

Well to be fair he hasn't done anything yet and he needs more than a few good looks in training camp before he's arrived. However it wouldn't be the first time a small linebacker falls in the draft and ends up being a pretty good starter.

Zach Thomas is the obvious undersized LB taken late in the draft turning into a great pro. Hell Kwon Alexander wasn't drafted that far ahead of Greenlaw and he was playing good enough to earn the contract he got with us.

Would be great if Dre was our version but we'll see what happens. Sometimes it's the right fit. If our DL does what they're capable of then it will certainly make his job easier.

Yeah original report I saw said wrist injury. Glad it was minor.

Day off tomorrow should help with those.

Not worries about the offense, it will put up point. I’d be a lot more worried if our offense was shredding our defense at this point. Glad Bosa is doing well and our DL in general appears to be looking really stout.

Can’t wait til we can actually square up against another team to see if our offense is really rusty or if our defense is legit.

I think at this point D usually has the advantage anyhow, just hoping Jimmy can knock off the rust before game time, Jet can get some time to come back before the season (although depth there helps a ton), and that we stay healthy through camp. Really excited to see what this team can do this year.
