Over the last year my heart and lung function have actually improved.

Been on immunotherapy the last 10 weeks and back in remission.

Doctor says I am in the perfect position possible lining up into this transplant.

Official hospital admit day is May 30th, and my "rebirthday" will be 6/6/2019

Take care

Hey everyone, thank you all for your words of encouragement.

It's been a tough few months, but my admission date is 5/30/19.
My "rebirthday" will be 6/6/2019

I've been heavily considering a GoFundMe lately, just curious if anyone knows who I'd need to PM to see if I could make it a sticky.

Hey all. Was admitted Thursday for transplant.

6 days of chemo followed by receiving stem cells from my brother.

Have currently done 3 days of chemo and tbh I feel pretty good. Though the doses go up tomorrow.
Been busy killin time watching TV reading crossword puzzles. Etc

The nurses at this hospital have been some eye candy while going through this.

Glad to here the chemo isn't too bad so far and you're managing to fill the time. I bet the waiting isn't a lot of fun. Still rooting for you and optimistic that this transplant is going to do it.

GL sir

If I was you, I'd sadly 'confess' to each nurse in turn that you're a virgin and wish that one time you could be with a woman and you're super sad that you might die without ever getting laid. Shed a tear and lay on a big sigh.

Fantastic news op

I am thankful to hear you are still with us. I am sure that I am not the only Miscer that has thought about you since these past few months.

Get that GoFundMe running, m8.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.
