Fuarrk man that sucks

Good luck with the BMT, you've been posting here from 12 years, really hope you're still around and calling OPs *******s in 2031 like an OG miscer.

Hey all. Some updates.
My consult with bmt dr went well, right now it's looking like both of my brothers are potentially HLA matches. Which would be insanely rare.
Working on tying up some loose ends with disability/work/fmla

Have an appt may 5th that should give me more information with the timeline.
Unfortunately I've been pretty sick as of late. I've had to go on antibiotics a few times due to sicknesses.

I do feel a lot better mentally. Been trying to stay positive. I know a strong mentality will be crucial to how I handle the bmt.
Still hard to accept that this is my life now.

What Griggz said. But do get it checked by all means though, better safe than sorry. I have one under armpit, one on side of neck and under jaw for 8 years now. Had a scan that came out fine and had full bloods 3x over the years (cause im a bit of a hypochondriac), all came out clean.

Good luck OP, you can beat this. Will be praying for you.

Hey all.
Found out that both of my brothers are perfect HLA matches for the transplant.
Each only had a 20% chance so for both to be, is very rare, and lucky depending on who you ask lol.

I've done all my initial organ testing.
Over the last year my heart and lung function have actually improved.

Been on immunotherapy the last 10 weeks and back in remission.

Doctor says I am in the perfect position possible lining up into this transplant.

Official hospital admit day is May 30th, and my "rebirthday" will be 6/6/2019

Take care

You got this bro. My sister was recently told she was in remission and needed no more treatment other than yearly checkups to make sure it didn't return and not even a year ago they were only giving her a 20% chance to make it 2 years
