Is it? I couldn't remember.

Loved the gold pickup though. Really excited about the release. Doing everything I can to not play anymore this weekend. Want things as fresh as possible.

Edit: Chit, just read next weeks beta is all 5 acts. Not sure I can resist playing now. Welp, there goes my weekend plans.

been watching some d2r twitch streams of the beta, and from the looks of things a lot of these streamers probably never played the original game. no one knows what to do in the game.

btw, will there be a way to play classic version without the lod addon?

That's possible, I've grinded to 32 on my fireball sorc through tomb runs.
Stats: 6'3, 243 lbs

always pick #4 crew
dirty bulk crew
small calves crew

Correct me if I am wrong, but the more popular route for FO sorcs is max block ES/FO yeah? I think you only need like 80 strength all up, no vit, enough dex for MB, everything pump into ES. I think you picked up one non-cold spell for immunes like meteor? Or was there a weapon/runeword with merc to bypass that?

Yeah I have not given this company money in a long time but I have no choice. I've bought it and I am installing. While there are some things maybe to sort out like wide screen etc, everything I am hearing is reflecting the alpha testers - that they've resmastered this properly.

gonna pass...

watched some streamers play it yesterday. Def looks great, but at the end of the day there's zero new content. Will be fun to play for like 1-3 months then probably get stale since it's the exact same game.

Assuming they're telling the truth about allowing mods, once Project Diablo 2 gets ported onto it, that's gonna be a fuk load of fun.

checked through the game's b.net beta forum. lots of people complaining about wanting to get refunds for the pre-purchase.

- game causing systems to overheat (maybe something to do with vsync not being on?)
- lots are complaining about no new balances, personal item drops, and exp increase since original version
- no widescreen resolution (added black bars on sides of the screen)
- no tcp/ip (might mean there won't be add-ons/mods?)

the closed beta ends on 17th, and open starts on 18th to 23rd, which will contain 5 acts, and additional classes. this is similar to how they ran the original beta test.

Playing sorc and currently on act 2 at level 18. I feel like I don't want to continue playing the beta.
I think I'll just play the final version when it launch. I want to contain my excitement lol.

I'm loving it so far. I feel like I went back in time and young again hehe! Will wait while playing TBC for now.

Got up to 200 something mf. Was running Andy for a bit. Found a decent nagelring, couple pieces of cleglaws, and 2 other uniques so far.

Don’t think I’m gonna do act 2 or try other characters. Just messing around with some mf runs.

at last i can play in D2 on PC with DS4 controller, had to add it to steam as non steam game for PlayStation controller support tho. Xbox controller should work without it.
