I've had loved ones die from ovarian cancer.

Ovarian cancer rates are too fukking high, often caused by external carcinogens, and 10 yr mortality is abysmal.

RIP. I feel like this was an unnecessary death for a 30 yo person who took care of herself.

The tree funeral is beautiful and I hope they're able to do something in line with that.

Yeah cancer can be unpredictable like that despite how resilient our bodies can be. One of my family friends was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor maybe a few months ago and was gone so quickly it was crazy

This is very sad. She was married too and I thought she saying her husband had cancer also and then they divorced. She seemed like a really positive person for all the curve-balls thrown at her.

I own chinchillas too and they become very bonded/attached to their owners.

If they stop getting attention or stop seeing their humans they will get depressed because they’re that social with their people. In fact they likely miss her already.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe most of her family were pet people so most likely they will take in hers. At minimum, I know she adopted one of her kittehs through Nevada Humane Society so she may have set something up through them. She didn't seem like the type that would just leave her pets hanging without a plan.

Again, not 100% sure but I believe she moved into a new place early December prior to her surgery. The guy she was with was beyond disgusting for everything he did.

The only thing that brings me some peace of mind in al of this is that she had a strong relationship with her family and friends and that she was able to spend a lot of time with them prior to and through the holidays while all of this was going on.

She was genuinely just a straight up good person and is going to be missed greatly.

She was on the miscord just a month or so ago talking about her divorce, she also helped her (ex)husband through cancer. By all accounts he sounds like a piece of chit.

She was clearly strong af.
