Annual goodlife membership from gf's corporate rate, comes to around $38-40/month I think and no contract. Hours of the closest location are 5am-midnight, and I can access any other goodlife across the country. Too bad no golds gym around downtown…

TP, I've worked with cats. Don't trust those fukkers.

Creatine, my gym is like $69/month at least. ****ty out if date YMCA that I have to buy equipment for because it's so ****ty. I also get to work out with old ppl and teenagers. 1/4 reps everywhere.

Matty, if my gym even thought to tell me no chalk, I would lose my ****. Other day there was a "Find your focus, please don't text/talk on your phone while you exercise". I've been sick, but they are gonna get it when I get back for that sign.

Ecto, not sure if Srs… did you grow up there cause your parents gambled? Or do you actually have experience? I started working at a thoroughbred stable and there has been some concerning **** happening in there. Not sure if I should just say fukk it and leave or take over.

Surprised by the first part.

Not the second, tho. Only place I've seen that is worse than LA is NYC.

TTC sold one of Wilson station's parking lots to a developer for condos just at the beginning of the month. I think that would be a good place for first time buyers in the city…the ones across from Downsview station were like 150K or so initially, now way up there. And the townhomes being developed inside Downsview park are 6 figures I heard lol.

Anyone else hear about the proposed tolls on the DVP and the Gardiner in Toronto (~$2/trip)? As someone who lives downtown and whose parents live in Oakville, I for one support this initiative. Less cars on the road and less congestion (terrible even in non-rush hours). People need to carpool or take public transit more. The amount of single drivers on the road that I see is ridiculous. Not to mention the main benefit of providing funding towards infrastructure, transit and public housing/public parks.

Places like Singapore have far higher tolls and really discourage driving by slapping a fat auto tax. That's a little extreme for our situation, but tolls certainly have a place in a modern city that Toronto is striving to become.

Oh god no. The horses are well taken care of! They are just fukkin crazy thoroughbreds and everyone is too afraid to handle them. Including the stable manager. So I took the stallion out and brought him back in myself on my first day. Seems crazy when they don't know anything about me. Not even my horse experience.

Regardless of someone's opinion on it, the fact is that Toronto and any big city around the world cannot accommodate the huge number of cars on the road. Its inevitable that ridiculous traffic jams and severe air pollution is gonna happen regardless of how many new roads we decide to built to avoid it.

So to answer your question yes I fully support it, specially when alternative transportation is available. I hate the idea of a new "tax" but it is a necessity. We can't have high population density and expect to be able to get to point A to point B in a car alone efficiently. If you live in a big city, you might need to get used to ditching your car or be ready to start paying more for that luxury.

Yeah I don't mind it. Some people are freaking out over it but honestly I don't care. If I spend $2 a trip but that saves me say 30-60min of my time that's much more valuable than $2 considering the wear and tear on my car. Most people don't think that way but just freak out over $2 because it's $2 they now have to spend.
