Watching youtube videos trying to wrap my head around put options.

If I think VGR is going to go down in the future I would want a Put option right? But what would be the strike price? 20 dollars?

So I would want to buy to open VGR put strike price of 20?

So the option will be in the money if the stock dips below 20?

Yes you would buy a put option. There should be multiple strike prices available, you pick the one where you think you can make the most money, has a premium that you are willing to pay, and a time frame that you want.

Yes which obviously is inherently more risky so you have to have a fairly strong grasp on technicals if you are doing it intraweek or willing to pay a significantly higher premium have more time for it to drop. It works best if you have a hunch an upcoming event is going to go worse than expected.

Looking to put some money in etfs and leave it there long term. I'm trying to buy a few different sectors. Can anyone suggest a website or two I can look into to see which etfs are available for certain industries?

IN all srsness, what makes you say that? Vanguard offers cheaper beta exposure pretty much across the asset class spectrum. And, they waive transaction fees since they are a retail broker. BlackRock/Statestreet can't compete w/ dat chit mayn.

Dunno, been holding since last year when I bought the dip. I'm guessing its gonna split once it hits around 1k. How nice would it be to get a 7 for 1 split like apple did?

Honestly I still think AMZN is a good buy. Its only going to keep going up. Jeff Bezos is now the 2nd richest man in the world after the AMZN rally last week.
