I didn't have major issues with the side missions, for the most part they are cool. It's just the wold activities and the onslaught of minigames that got to me. Even some side missions had their own minigames and some of them are pure ass.

True. I think i mean all the Chadley stuff and crap the pops up as soon as you get to a new area. The card game is always fun (like Gwent in W3).

Also synergy materia just had her casting spells nonstop on enemies while you perform actions with Cloud and Tifa, she was absolutely wrecking enemies by endgame.

Yeah I got magnify+haste on cloud, it's the first thing I do at the beginning of every (non minor) fight as he starts off with a full bar.

Feels a bit sad I never used some abilities as often as I would have liked because I rather use the ones I have on hot keys.


I think one cool feature the game could have is a wheel that records the last few moves you did so you can open and use them quickly in battle. Or maybe let you change new hotkeys during a fight so let's say I wanna cast some things more in a particular fight I can do those moves more easily.

Man chadley and his sis are too much. Sometimes I wanna get into the VR sim. I approach him and the fukker just keeps talking omg

Yeah I'm not touching hard mode for a while. I'll probs most likely get the plat someday, I'm close but it will take years to undo the damage lmao.

Aerith is a beast. Here's my setup

Give her the Chocoking's cape accessory where she gets an ATB bar at the start of the fight
Give her a maxxed out first strike materia
She now has 2 atb bars at the start of the fight
Equip magnify+time materia on cloud. Cast haste at the beginning of the fight.
Switch to Aerith cast Radiant ward, her attacks in the ward fill her bars faster
Cast Arcane ward inside the Radiant ward. It makes her cast spells twice.
From there you can blow people up with 2x firagas, thundagas, comets etc

Equip her with Synergy+petrify materia
Equip her with mp absorb+ poison and petrify materia

When your other characters comsume ATB bars, it will cause Aerith to start throwing out quake spells automatically. Putting a second quake with mp absorb means she will recover mana for free during the fight allowing you to cast more huge spells when you switch back to her.

She starts weak cause slow atb but once I had radiant ward and haste its over. She's almost broken she's the most powerful when you upgrade her.

It's really badass when she's blowup up the entire arena with quake spells lol
