Feels, pouring one out for my pupper.
I think reading a book and having your pupper curl up next to you on the couch is one of the GOAT pastimes. I miss it.
Any 2017 resolutions guys?

Not sure why, but I'm not even worried about growing anything anymore. Just love watching my lifts grow.

I'm the exact opposite, the more I grow older the more I want to see size. Used to get giddy whenever I went up using a higher weight. Now I don't even care.

Probably comes from being a Manmore. I've been about 6'4" and over 205 lbs since junior high.

Being huge is my natural state, but I love being able to do a lift that I wasn't able to do yesterday.

Just want to look like I lift, still get stoked when I set a new PR though. Really hard to keep weight off in the winter when I am off work, at least I am always stronger when I go back.

More food and no work must equal killer gym sessions during the holidays.

I'm convinced that doing so introduces a shock that ends up promoting even more growth/strength. Just so long as you aren't doing it all the time and burning yourself out.

That feel when you write a concise and polished message on LinkedIn for a job and then your windows restarts by itself when you sleep and the tabs cannot be restored.

Is anyone else finding this issue in chrome, just the restoring part?

That's the absolute worst. Chrome has been dicked since about… November for me. I was working on a term paper in google docs for my grad thesis and 40 pages of research were wiped for no reason. Brutal life… doing everything offline from now on.

Oh damn, that blows. I thought google docs have auto-save. Yeah thank god my message was only a brief one. Lesson learned there. Chrome restoration was fine for me before this week. Dunno what happened to it.

Any miscers in Quebec looking to adopt a new dog? I highly recommend you to take a look at this. My pupper that passed away was a stray dog in China. She was 2-months old at the time and might have been snatched away to be slaughtered for a restaurant, a fake fur factory, or even worse, one of these dog meat festivals. These 32 dogs in MTL, and others deserve a second chance as well so please consider adopting one of these pups if you feel you'll be ready to (some of them will be available starting Jan.) My pupper and I would be forever grateful.

Just make sure you don't get a "pitbull like breed". Montreal's punk ass considers some puppies to be too scary to live.

Have a good one brah, see you in 2017!

Apparently the saved puppers are available in 5 humane societies across Ontario as well, so Ontario brahs should take a look!

Just get back to the self improvement thing all around. Stop eating so much junk at school, get back to doing cardio a few times a week, lift more frequently instead of going once then stopping for 2 weeks, read a bit daily instead of binging on one book then not reading for 6 months, get back to learning a language. All doable stuff, nothing new really, just stuff I've already done in the past and need to stick to more consistently now.

Totally hear ya. One of my goals is to read 20 books next year. I gotta stay consistent with reading and make sure I do it everyday whenever I can. Devouring a book isn't so compatible with adult life. Small blocks of time dedicated everyday to reading. Play pick-up basketball or shoot some hoops once every week. Had Achilles tendinitis issues before and I've managed to finally drop 7-8 pounds in the past month and a half and resting the past 6 months, so hopefully it'll be better. Oh and hit weights 4 times a week, helps me become more mindful.

Yeah it's really not, it's a bit weird getting used to a chapter a day instead of 25% of a book or something in a day. Mirin hoops, I'm terrible at it. Would love to work on it because it seems to be all anyone from my city plays, but my bum knees aren't helping too much with that lol.

Definitely feel ya on the weights. I feel like I'm just going thru the motions if I'm not lifting hard.
