I sometimes have minor knee issues, at times from hiking even. I find warming up helps a lot, especially for basketball.

Yeah, there must be a lot asian ballers, up and coming Jeremy Lin's in Van haha. Was at a NYE party in Toronto last night and bonded with a bunch of guys I haven't met before over fantasy basketball lol. It's a really good social lubricant I find.

Anyone know how easy it is to get a dog certified as a service dog?

I want to get another dog since my pupper passed away a year and a half ago. I've since moved so won't have family in the area to come by during the day to take him for walks/hikes during the day. Figure I could get one and claim I need it him for depression or anxiety or something. And if my work has issues I'll refer them to Trudeau. Because it's 2017

Yeah I have to warm up a lot. Foam roll, stretch, walk a bit then start running. Then ice and all that ish after or else I'm not walking the next day lol. That's just for running, I imagine basketball would be a bit more stressful with all the cutting and jumping and stuff. Lot of asians here tho. Good shooters but yall terrible in the post.

And lol awesome. I always find the most random stuff to talk with randoms over. Last time me and some dude talked about f*cken Singapore for an hour. I've never even been to Singapore, he just wouldn't stfu lol

Damn man, what happened to your knee? Did you tear a ligament before or something? I'm really going to feel it the affects of playing basketball when I get old. I will lose a bit more weight to lighten the load on my joints. Down the road hopefully I find another sport to play, maybe squash. Played it a couple times at Western. Great cardio workout, pretty quick, doable in winter, good for networking.
Nothing will replace basketball though, since it's my childhood sport. Will definitely force it upon my future kid lol.

Always awkward when you find people who don't notice that you're bored of the topic. And you can't interrupt because they're so excited and won't stop talking lol. I'm used to it by now from my dad so I'm a very patient listener I've been told haha

Nice, were you accepted out of undergrad? I've applied to masters and professional programs all over, not sure where I'll end up next year but I should find out by March.

Oh nice, where did you apply to man? My fate is decided by March as well. Heading back to school for some more learning about finance and policy and also need a reset for recruiting opportunities.

Voodoo floss helps my knees so much. Just tack it around whichever tendon's inflamed then run it through some ROM. Voltaren is good too but it's just a bandaid.

McGill, UofT, UBC, Laurier, Western, Lakehead (lol), York, Queens… I think that's it. Spent about 2 grand on applications and immediately regretted it. I might end up teaching English abroad for a few years instead, I'm really burnt out from academia

I have shorts, a t-shirt, and a pair of sneakers. Any other "lifting gear" just seems like too much hassle.

Not sure what I did to it honestly. We used to play football every day in the summer a few years back but it didn't hurt then. Gotten it xrayed, nothing. Got an MRI, nothing. Doctor said its just some swelling. Swelling that last 3 f*cking years.. Got it xray again last week, waiting on results. We'll see how it goes. For now I've just said f*ck it, I'm going to run and I dun really give a ****.

Lol squash is hard. Great workout but I hate the game itself. Soccer's my sport, wish I didn't give it up. Can't even remember why I did.

toronto brahs,

how does street parking work?

it seems like such rocket science on those signs designed to give you tickets. How long do those meters on streets run til? So any parking on any toronto street is 3 hour max? How do you go to clubs downtown?

Obey the signs on whether you can park in certain hours or not. You just pay the meter (3 hour max yep, you can go extend after I guess). I live in downtown so I either walk or uber. You can take the subway/streetcar if you live outside of downtown.
