Do you have any type of relationship with the AD? If not, you'll probably never get the call.

@Kovalchuk71

The skydweller is not overpriced right now I believe the market price is much more appropriate considering it is Rolex's only annual calendar and most complicated watch

I agree and think that the Skydweller is very underpriced for what it is.

Guys whats the opinion on Baume & Mercier watches. I have my eye on an entry level Swiss watch and the B&M Classima looks nice. Is this a decent brand? What about resale value etc? Thanks

Good brand for the money. Resale value is chit. You should be aiming for at least 30% off.

I do. Probably have spent 15k avg a year for the past handful of years with them.

You should have the easy link and the micro adjustment holes. There shouldn't be any reason to be between sizes.

I like the bronze one, but not at 43mm. I don't know why bronze watches are all so big. That other ugly monstrosity with the crazy end links looks retarded as fuk.

Rolex releases are incredibly underwhelming.

Batman on jubilee will perform outstandingly because anything and everything Rolex these days is at MSRP or over. I was quoted MSRP with NO discount for a full PM Daytona at my AD who my family and I have spent over $500k at in the past 2 years.

Which one are you looking for? If it's the YG green dial that one's tough to get and I know theres a solid waiting list.

If it's not just buy grey. Fuk the AD.

BTW did you ever get that Patek? I'm on three lists right now for a 5167a with no end in sight.

An example that reflects how people into watch collecting really buy what they want for their own satisfaction more than anything else.

Nobody, off of a glance, can tell that one is steel for $3-4k, and the other is 18k gold $9k, "discounted" from 20k retail. Only the owner would know, and thats enough for a lot of us. I respect the brand even more for making these two indistinguishable. Also lol @ me, i bought the steel version and overpaid.

The one in that Pic looks to be a Rubber B. Everest also makes a similar one.

Ianos is hitting Kickstarter tomorrow. I would back it if I had the money, and I dont back watches. I think it's wholly amazing, innovative, and with a great story. And you can talk directly to the owners on fb. They're cool.

Sup boyos. Got my first watch a few months ago - a Tissot Chemin Des Tourelles. I love it, beautiful piece.

Next on my hit list is the Omega, I think I'm going to treat myself with this for my birthday. A guy I talked to who recently bought one said a Seamaster can be had for $3k (how much he paid), and he bought a new one at OC Tanner. Is this true?

I can see the appeal of a dial executed by hand like this. It's a pretty awesome way for them to flex artistry. I also see why people might have issues with it, since precision is the top priority of any watchmaker. It's definitely going to be a hit with some people. Mostly likely people that already own a few Patek watches with printed dials. In my case, my first Patek would have applied everything.

It looks good, and a lot of people will agree with you. Things that I am not a fan of on it:
1. Vintage styles lume-i prefer lume to get that color naturally
2. Blue hands-they don't seem to be heat blued, though I may be wrong
3. Crown guard on a dress watch case (thin bezel etc). Because why?
4. The bracelet isn't my style. Seems easy to change though.

Otherwise, it's a great looking watch from a company that's really blowing up.
