Staley, Juice, McGlinchey all practiced today. Nice.
Celek window activated off of PUP.
Elijah Lee promoted, Kwon to IR.
No Kittle at practice but that was expected, I'd sit him all week tbh.

A little worried about the defense. But we will just have to see how it plays out.

Curious on Witherspoons status. Would like to see him back for this game to help vs their big WRs.
Also hate to say it but I don’t see a spot on the roster for Celek.

Could drop a QB, Jeff Wilson Jr, or Sam Young (since the other tackles playing so well). Depends also if anyone off IR is coming back ie. Taylor, Hurd.
I haven't heard updates about Spoon but E-Mosely playing really well in his absence. I'm less worried about the WRs of Seattle than I am about getting Wilson down. He could play with any WR as long as he manages time to run around. If we can actually get him sacked we'll be fine, easier said than done but I like our DL vs their OL as a matchup its a matter of collapsing the pocket and not letting Wilson escape.
More worried/curious to see how we fare at LB without Kwon. Greenlaw has his upsides but he's a young guy who will no doubt be prone to making some mistakes. I like his tackling ability and speed but can he stay on top of the mental game. Same with Lee and Al Shaair they have certain upsides but also some limitations. Curious to see if they go by committee or just let one play most of the game.

If we can go into your house and beat you there it will be all eyes on the SB because my biggest question right now is how will this team look in hostile road conditions playing one of the elite QBs in this game with a good OL, ground game and defense that can stop the run.
You're basically built to stop us so if we can get the W there we can legit beat any team.

It wasn't so much roster spot as need. Where do we play him? Kittle is the best TE in the game. Toli is a terrific blocker and Dwelley is developing into a pretty solid TE. 4th TE seems like a non factor on game day.
I want Spoon back but at 100%. I think he was our best corner before getting hurt and his size and playmaking ability would certainly be helpful. Don't forget when teams go 3+ WR sets the more good corners you have the better. We've had to play DJ Reed out there right now. I'd rather that extra corner be E-Man with Spoon, Sherm and KW manning their usual roles. Any extra time to stick to WRs against Russell Wilson in his chicken with his head cut off mode is ideal so the pass rush can hopefully get to him.
As for the linebackers, guess not much we can do about it now…just have to hope for the best.
You're right any time you have rookie defenders the biggest fear is mental errors. Nothing hurts the defense worse than a guy who should be in spot X and he's going to spot Y. That's how big plays happen. Hopefully he's matured since preseason where he had some cringe worthy poor reads. I'm sure Seattle will test him early so he just has to step up and hopefully our defensive coaches manage to hide him properly.
End of the day our DL has to play at their best. Seattle OL is better than it has been in some seasons but it's far from dominant. Hopefully Bosa and the boys have a similar game as they did last MNF we had. Wilson is too good to turn into Baker Mayfield and they'll get their points but we just have to limit their big plays and hope either they make enough mistakes or we make enough plays and our offense does its job.
When it's all said and done, don't care if it's by 1 point or 40…just get that W. Even though I certainly care while I'm watching the game lol…those close games are stressful as fuk.

I am not worried, look at this quote.
"49ers' Kyle Juszczyk 'ready to ride' vs. Seahawks on Monday night"
SANTA CLARA – The 49ers offense didn't miss a beat without fullback Kyle Juszczyk and starting tackles Mike McGlinchey and Joe Staley, but getting them all back for San Francisco's Monday night matchup with the division rival Seattle Seahawks is a huge benefit.

Definitely glad we're getting Juice back.
Dude just brings another level to our running attack. Hopefully Jimmy keeps playing great and the reinforcements on offense help the defense even more as we're able to maintain long drives resulting in points, keeping the defense fresh and putting pressure on other teams to score points.
I think the numbers I saw had with Juice our running game was averaging over 5 YPC, without him we were much less impressive.
Best way to cover up the loss of Kwon is to keep the offense on the field most of the game

Was hearing Seattle playing really poorly against play action this year, and that is one of our strengths on offense.
I really think that we outmatch them in every facet of the game other than the fact that they have a QB who can make something from nothing. Overall I think we win this game because I don't see Wilson beating us by himself. I don't think he's good enough to make up for the difference between the two teams, especially considering we have a top defense he will be going against, in our building, in primetime. I think if we can play disciplined we should win pretty convincingly.
I think this team is rallying around the fact that every game has been a prove it game, and afterward it seems like nothing is proven to the outsiders. This is a legit chance to make a statement and you know they want to make it. The defense is going to look at what the offense did down starters and do what they did without Spoon, but this time with Kwon. I think after a "humbling" TNF game they're coming out ready to roll on defense and the offense has been rolling, and bringing in some reinforcements. I know Wilson is dangerous but I see the Niners winning this one convincingly, similarly as they have done many times this year already in these types of games.

Metcalf and Lockett looked very scary last game, I don't want to see a lot of big passes to them.
If you haven't noticed I'm overly cautious when it comes to the niners lol. I've been burned so bad before with high expectations that I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Logically I think we should beat Seattle.
I think we're a better team. Our defense is much better than theirs and while Jimmy isn't playing as well as Russell Wilson overall our offense is just as dangerous.
Honestly I think my biggest concern from the Arizona game was our plan of attack against a mobile QB. It took our biggest strength - our pass rush and it made them kind of hang back instead of doing what they do best - attack.
Hopefully it was more short rest/lack of practice time and lack of film on Drake that caused the lapse by the D and we see a hungry, pissed off defense come in against Seattle and make Wilson look way worse than he's looked this year.

Saints game and @Seattle I can see being losses, but I'll take 14-2

Sure is. Will be fun to watch both t eams as the season goes on.
A loss to Seattle won't squash their playoff hopes but it will really hurt the big picture for this season.
They beat Seattle and odds are they're looking at 10-0 heading into the hurricane season of their schedule - Packers at home then going on the road to Baltimore and to New Orleans.
If they can come out of that three game stretch even 1-2 things look pretty good for them. If they go 2-1 that's even better(especially if the wins are against the NFC teams)
However if they lose to Seattle it's going to make it that much tougher to win the division and to get a bye week for the playoffs. With the Saints being 7-1 and Packers at 7-2 there isn't much room for error.
Honestly I think the two games that are the toughest on the 49ers schedule given matchups and location/travel are the away games in Baltimore and New Orleans. Saints especially are the great barometer for the 49ers this year.
They're built to give the 49ers trouble. Great run D. Elite QB playing with an elite WR with great weapons and a very good OL in front of him.
Assuming both teams are healthy 49ers will have a huge challenge playing the Saints at their house. I can't wait…but 49ers have to keep playing well or the shine will be off that game a bit if the 49ers come into it 9-3 or something like that.

Just need him healthy.
But definitely hopeful that whoever is kicking Monday night it's a LOT of extra points because if we settle for field goals against Seattle it won't go well for us.
Also hoping that Kittle being out of practice is them playing it safe. I'd be shocked if he doesn't play but you never know…if he's not out there on Monday the offense will definitely take a hit.

Dwelley looks solid and we'll have Juice back. Plus Jimmy is getting better throwing to WRs with Sanders out there and the other guys have been coming along.
Really bummed about Taylor not playing this season after having such a great camp according to everyone.

Damn, Kittle probably will not play, that sucks.
He hasn't been as dominant as last year but still a huge blow.
Hoping the run game takes off again this game with Juice back
