Camping? You pay a chitton to park in camping spaces in the US, you're better off couchsurfing - or at least using that for having safe places to put your car and a shower etc without having to pay for every single night of not so comfortable sleeping. Out of my 90 nights in the US, I think I only paid for 10 of them, everything else was through couchsurfing or Tinder. Although if you can sleep in your car, then it's fairly easy and cheap as well (though the comfort of getting a nice bed, clean sheets to sleep on, possibly a (usually fairly healthy) meal, getting the best directions of places to visit and new stories/inspiration all for free is pretty awesome too).

ALSO CAN I COME WITH? I'll be the biggest spoon.

Welp, Hamilton distributor here (Malaysia) says it'll take 1 to 2 months for H70595963 to arrive since it's newly launched.. Sad. But got them to order it.

In the mean time, thinking of getting the Seiko SKX007

Anyone got this? Saw this in the shop and it's pretty cheap and solid.

Definitely affordable and damn solid. Mine has been on more actual dives than I can count, banged around, and still keeps amazing time while looking great. Get it.

Literally the best watch you can get for the money. They've got a review on worn&wound.

Definitely a solid option for a daily.

It's like $80 for a year pass to all the national parks in the U.S., so we're planning to do that. That's kind of the point of the trip. We want to camp. We both enjoy it.

I've had the U1 SDR, U2 and UX. Loved each, but think the UX SDR would be perfect. The bracelet works really well and balances the watch out perfectly. By the way, you want a different watch every week. ;-)

Sinn Ux SDR. It's a quartz movement with a seven year battery life and water resistant to 5000m. The case is filed with oil, which I assume helps with WR and creates a neat visual effect of the handles being very close to the crystal. I'd get it on the rubber strap.

These things always look amazing. Good thing is you can smash a bunch of different straps onto it and change the look. But at the end of the day it's just an extremely well made watch that can be worn 24/7.

The external AR coating, which I once vowed I would never get, was amazing as well. Fit and finish were excellent. These are a steal at $2500 gray market. Torn between yellow and all blue. They're purely sporty, no dress divers here.
would be almost perfect if it had proper indexing on the bezel, and a proper 12 O'clock marker/pearl, not this fuking '60' bs

35mm model has this retro feel indeed but having 7 inch wrists aswell i would go with the 38mm model. best would be to test both on your wrist at a local retailer ( if you have one who sells them)

no you got some company with that one lol

bezel indices aswell as the numerical dial could be from word comic font, dont know what people like about that watch, this could be a fossil fashion watch aswell based on the looks

on the other hand

i love that one

Yeah I know, but many places let you pay a quite hefty amount for every night just to put your tent on a tiny piece of land, which I think is a bit ridiculous. The year pass only gives you access to the parks, but camping is regulated differently in each park, often incurring high fees. When I was looking around, many places quoted $10-20 per person per night, a bit much if you ask me. I love camping too, and planned to sleep half of my trip in my car, but CS was just so easy and fun that I kept doing it. Not telling you what to do, just telling you what options there are out there.

See this is why I keep my gf around. I didn't know about that. She did. So we're gonna go to the parks but we're planning on doing our camping outside of the parks where there's free camping. And in the instances that we have to, we'll get a room or camp in the park.

gjdm, but camping outside of designated campgrounds is illegal in most places afaik though, unless for places where dispersed camping is allowed. In many parks though you're allowed to camp anywhere for free, as long as it's at least a mile (or something) away from the nearest road. I only spent one night in open air, which was in Death Valley, parked the car on an airstrip. You see cars coming from miles away at night due to their lights, and if your car is parked in the gigantic range of their headlights, it will be pretty easy to spot due to all the reflectors on it (something to keep in mind when you're camping where you shouldn't). You're best to research the rules for every park. In National Forests you can pretty much camp anywhere though, unless specifically stated otherwise. Anyway, I'd say Google some stuff and you'll manage just fine

The legibility at angles is the very best out there; because of the oil filled case. I found myself looking at it at angles a lot; usually in most of the hundreds of meetings that I'm in, that I have zero interest being in.

li'm kinda confused right now which omega did you try on?
this one:

or that one:

if you tried on the second one (300m ceramic)it boils down to personal preference IMO but if you tried on the first one (300 co-axial) then go with that one if you consider buy the breitling or an omega
