My girlfriend and I are planning a three month~ road trip for next fall going to all the national parks. We're planning on spending no more than 10,000 total. That's just to have enough surplus for emergencies. Realistically will probably be around 6-8k. Camping really drops down the cost.
ALSO CAN I COME WITH? I'll be the biggest spoon.

Welp, Hamilton distributor here (Malaysia) says it'll take 1 to 2 months for H70595963 to arrive since it's newly launched.. Sad. But got them to order it.
In the mean time, thinking of getting the Seiko SKX007
Anyone got this? Saw this in the shop and it's pretty cheap and solid.

I've had the U1 SDR, U2 and UX. Loved each, but think the UX SDR would be perfect. The bracelet works really well and balances the watch out perfectly. By the way, you want a different watch every week. ;-)

Sinn Ux SDR. It's a quartz movement with a seven year battery life and water resistant to 5000m. The case is filed with oil, which I assume helps with WR and creates a neat visual effect of the handles being very close to the crystal. I'd get it on the rubber strap.

Went and tried on a bunch of divers yesterday. The breitlings I thought I'd like I didn't, but I fell in love with their superocean in yellow. It was on the absolutely best rubber strap I've ever handled. I'd almost buy a watch just for that strap and clasp. Better than any Tudor, omega, isofrane, or seiko rubber by far.
The external AR coating, which I once vowed I would never get, was amazing as well. Fit and finish were excellent. These are a steal at $2500 gray market. Torn between yellow and all blue. They're purely sporty, no dress divers here.

Would you recommend the 38 over the 35?
The 35 seems to be the original Tangente, while the 38 seems to be just a bigger version with "tangente 35" parts on the inside. Have a 7 inch wrist. 40-41mm is my sweet spot for other watches.

bezel indices aswell as the numerical dial could be from word comic font, dont know what people like about that watch, this could be a fossil fashion watch aswell based on the looks

I don't like them, it's like someone typing a letter who can't figure out which font they want to stick with.

I only spent one night in open air, which was in Death Valley, parked the car on an airstrip. You see cars coming from miles away at night due to their lights, and if your car is parked in the gigantic range of their headlights, it will be pretty easy to spot due to all the reflectors on it (something to keep in mind when you're camping where you shouldn't). You're best to research the rules for every park. In National Forests you can pretty much camp anywhere though, unless specifically stated otherwise. Anyway, I'd say Google some stuff and you'll manage just fine

The legibility at angles is the very best out there; because of the oil filled case. I found myself looking at it at angles a lot; usually in most of the hundreds of meetings that I'm in, that I have zero interest being in.

this one:
or that one:
if you tried on the second one (300m ceramic)it boils down to personal preference IMO but if you tried on the first one (300 co-axial) then go with that one if you consider buy the breitling or an omega
