Yeah i'm a little pessimistic but they have far exceeded my expectations.
Yeah this team has already exceeded my expectations so anything better is a plus in my book.

…but at the same time being 8-0 and 9-1 heading into week 11 despite all the BS and injuries obviously you hope you can make a serious run.

This 3 game stretch will definitely be a true test. Some people don't see the Packers in the same light but they're 8-2 for a reason and Aaron Rodgers is still one of the elite QBs in the game. They're coming off a bye week, playing very balanced on offense and have a lot of talent on defense.

This game is at home…so this one is pretty much a must win for us. I hope we're up for the challenge. Really need Kittle and Sanders healthy for this one. Don't think Ford will play but having him would be huge too. Not having two stud edge rushers hurts in this one.

Hopefully our guys rise to the big game status of these weeks. 3-0 would be unbelievable. 2-1 would be amazing especially if the wins would be against the NFC teams. But winning at home is a must. Won't be easy though.

I had the sound off at that point and couldn't tell if they ruled that a catch or not. That was crazy…but then he'll drop some of the easiest **** around lol. So frustrating but hopefully what we've seen from Deebo last two weeks is what we're going to see moving forward.

Definitely need our guys to come up with clutch catches. Still had a bad one from Mostert on that 4th down play.

Next 3 weeks we cannot afford mistakes. You can get away with it sometimes against teams like Arizona but against GB, Baltimore and New Orleans that chit will cost us games.

Well said, no room for interceptions, drops, and juggling against top tier teams.

Man…we're in rough shape injury wise heading into this tough game stretch.

Breida, Kittle, Sanders, Samuel, Ford , Staley, Gould all not practicing.

Really need the guys in bold to be able to play but I think Sanders and Samuel may be the closest bets to play. Kittle I hope is a go because he clearly is a HUGE part of our offense both in the passing game and as a run blocker.

Sure teams have stacked the box a bit against us last few games but not having Kittle out there is killing us in the trenches.

No excuses though…the guys that play have to step it up. We need this game bad.

Aside from missing players on our side why would we lose this game? I don't see the Packers straight up beating us at home unless we have a bunch of turnovers. If we can limit those I think we come out on top.

They have one of the top QBs in the game, that alone can win teams games these days.

But their pass rush is legit and our OL has not looked very good last few games. Definitely not an easy matchup for us when we’re beat up but hopefully they step up and get this MUCH needed W.

Obviously Rodgers is great, I don't think the rest of the team is better than our team. We almost beat them last year in GB if it wasn't for a stupid penalty and Rodgers picking on a CB who shouldn't have even sniffed the field.

It will definitely be interesting to see who is in and out for us this game as far as injuries go but I still think we get the job done.

I certainly hope we win, god knows we need to with our 3 game stretch here and Seattle right up our ass and facing a much easier go of it. NFC is so tough this year that we can quickly find ourselves going from top seed to fighting for the 6th seed. And considering we haven't had an actual bye week since week 4 and our team is beat the fuk up…we badly need that extra bye week to try to heal up.

But you're forgetting two big things for Green Bay when talking about last year - 1 they're running a different system where their running game is a lot stronger and improved and it's something that's been a problem for us in recent weeks. Their young receivers are also more comfortable with Rodgers now and the biggest thing…their defense added a ton of talent in the offseason. The Smith brothers have been a huge boost to their pass rush.

Our OL has not played very well last two weeks which is pretty frustrating when our starters have come back. I really hope McGlinchey was shaking off the rust because Brunskill was outplaying him by a large margin in pass protection. He better get it together because as we face tougher secondaries than Arizona and Jimmy is forced to throw with pressure in his face odds of mistakes go up.

We BADLY need Kittle back. He's a huge part of this offense, maybe more so in the running game and teams have to account for him which opens up other things. We need the run game to pick things up again to become more balanced and allow Jimmy to be more cautious with the ball.

Hopefully even without Ford our DL can get to Rodgers. He's still a very mobile QB but compared to Murray and Wilson he's very much a pocket passer.

I'd feel so much better about this game if we were healthy. I don't know if he'd be 100% but getting even an 80% Kittle back on the field would be huge.

Defense gonna have to ball out. Hopefully Spoon comes back playing like he did before his injury. He was our best corner by a good margin before his injury.

I just hope they play Kittle right so he's healthy going into the playoffs. Gonna need him there.

Kittle is our MVP no question. I haven't checked recently but I know after his last game he was the highest graded player by PFF in the league.

He opens up so much on offense for us.

He was out there in a non contact jersey so hopefully it's a good sign that he'll play. We need this W bad. Have to win our home games and then try to take care of Seattle at their house and hope it's enough to get us a bye week for the playoffs.

It's going to be an interesting next few weeks for sure. Especially in Baltimore.

Yeah that's why this game at home is pretty much a must win if we want a real shot at that bye week. We lose to GB and it's going to be real tough to get those Ws on the road.

Baltimore will be a real tough matchup for us. Early game on the east coast(always a problem for West coast teams)
Lamar running around like a boss.
Terrific OL including the best LT in the game this year in Ronnie Stanley.
Great running game which has been an issue for us this year.
Defense that's playing pretty damn well, especially vs the run.

We definitely matchup much better vs less mobile QBs. Rodgers is not your Peyton Manning/Tom Brady/Phil Rivers statue back there but he's a lot closer to them than he is Lamar Jackon/Kyler Murray. And the Packers certainly won't ask him to run a lot. We'll finally be able to rush the passer properly.

Big question will be can Nick show up like big brother against the Packers. He'll be the key with Ford unlikely to play(not that he's playing much anyways with all his injuries this year)

100% agreed. I do think Rodgers is going to take a punishment this weekend. And if we can contain the run, the tour is going to be over for GB. If the 9ers win this one, they will go into Baltimore very strong. They just have to stay ahead of the injuries and interceptions…. Garoppolo.. lol

Back from banned camp

It’s crazy that we have 6 games to play and we already have as many wins as I think a lot of people thought we could have for the season in our best case scenario.

What’s not crazy is the fans that expect the world from every player and coach on the team. Fans expect Jimmy G to be Aaron Rodgers in his prime. I saw some numbers somewhere, can’t find it now, but through their first 20 games, Jimmy has fewer INT’s than Peyton, Brady, Montana and a couple other Hall of Famers.

I love the way he’s playing. Even with the risky throws. The guy has an elite release and he’s very accurate. Those are two huge things that not a lot of quarterbacks have. And he’s really good at moving in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield. Fixing throws where you’re fooled by coverage is a lot easier to fix than accuracy or or arm quickness.
Horny.

I don’t know the numbers but he’s been nails on third down. Especially with pressure in his face.

Blows my mind that some people compare him to Alex Smith. He’s nothing like Alex. Damn near the opposite.

We should actually have an offense now, unlike against Seattle.

Hope our OL shows up big in this game. Need to get the running game going and give Jimmy time to find his guys without rushing things.

Hopefully on D the DL still does its thing without Ford.

Fully healthy probably none but he’s at least played. Don’t forget we also lost Blair at DE. Hopefully Moore plays well with the chances he gets but Ford despite being beat up had some key pressures/sacks this year. Bummer that he has been hurting all year though. Having him at 100% would’ve made our rush even scarier. Hopefully he heals up.

Also crazy to hear Kittle was playing on a broken ankle and apparently still dealing with it. Hopefully it won’t get worse playing him tonight but we definitely need him.

Game day! Crazy Kittle had a broken bone, let's hope it doesn't get any worse and he and the rest of the team get out the the game healthy. Big game tonight, looking for a solid performance and hyped up team to come out and get the job done.

We gotta get to Rodgers and I'd like to see the run game get going again tonight with Kittle likely playing and GB not having a great run D.

Super ready for this game, let's limit the mistakes and make some big plays. Go Niners!
