I thought that too, but I thought the Oyster bracelet "turned it down" a bit in regards to the flashiness. The fluted bezel on the jubilee is my breaking point. Add in the base flashiness/attention of even having a rolex on and i can't be bothered.

Looking for some advice.

Watch prices have gone bananas lately, I have been offered $19k (AUD) for my BLNR which is about $13k USD.

They are hard to find in Australia (12mo+ waiting list) had it for 3 years now, bought for $10.5k AUD while overseas. Love the watch but thinking about selling, feel like these are topping out in price now.

Any suggestions on why I SHOULDN'T sell?

Not short on money so don't need the cash but would maybe buy a car with it, put it towards property or even bank $10k and buy a cheaper watch like $8k.

I think this depends entirely on your existing watch collection. If you have 3 or 4+ watches already, and have another steel sports in the collection that you enjoy equally or near as much then I would absolutely sell. However if the BLNR is your one piece and you think you're going to sell it, park some cash and be happy with just the commoner black dial sub i would think twice.

I think this depends entirely on your existing watch collection. Yup it's my only watch.

Already leaning back to holding onto it after some thought lol. I Didn't buy the watch as an investment and I do love it. Just the run up in watch prices caught me by surprise.

If I sell, it will just be throwing the cash back on the pile.

Like Will said, since it's your only watch…why? Youre just going to want another one, and will have to most likely pay Grey prices if you want another in less than…6 months.

I just ordered a 22mm for my LumTec and SKX009, I will report back when it come in. There are a bunch of good reviews on youtube for them. I used code NEWSUBSCRIBER for 20% off and it was only $12.01 shipped. Not bad Chad.



I also considered a Barton strap - anyone used them? That two tone black/red silicone is bad ass looking and the prices are very reasonable too. That black leather with red stitching for only 25 bucks is real tempting.

Das it boyo is that the Beverly Hills (BH) boutique? I'm thinking of the white dial blue subdial but I don't really have a good AP connect for the popular models.

Congrats! I put a deposit down for a blue 5711/1a that was "promised" before Christmas, wish me luck

also paid this in full to arrive before Christmas…been a long wait now I may switch it to something else
