300blk running the 110gr vmax “new” load by Freedom Munitions. I have since heard they load light. And they way over price them. Really want to see how the new brand will shoot.

Ppl that say 300 blk isn't accurate. If you can’t shoot 300blk accurately…it’s probably you.
For what the round is meant for, long range accuracy is moot anyway. Fuk ppl.

After putting on my BCM kag…kinda irritated about the position I have to put it in bc of the fn gas block is in the way of where I wanted it and my small rail (10.5” barrel)… so I decided I needed to make myself feel better by ordering some rail guards. Wanted the DD ones but ofc their signature ones are only for the pic quad rail.

So I went with these for my mlok rails. Wanted rubber for heat dispersion and also to cushion blows/sound deadening if I hit the rail off whatever. They look pretty cool.

I'm currently in Odessa tx to check out the new job, everyone seems to like me, and spoke favorably of me because of my video interview. I have my M&P with me, I should probably check out the outdoor range before I go tomorrow. I'm in the process of locking down a townhome in the area too, the move is going smooth so far. I thought Vegas would have been a good move overall, but unfortunately living and working here isn't working out. What you hear about cities is true, thankfully an outfit here is picking me up and beating my current pay. I guess it'll work out in my favor since the cost of living is far lower here.

Nice. Just googled ergo. Not sure who is the original manufacturer. Looks like they offer the same ones. Both made in USA. Didn’t know you could get various colors….but I like the black anyway. Really wanted the DD ones but I’ll be damned if I add a pic rail just so I can use them. Don’t need the weight.

Shot the freedom munitions vs AAC 110gr vmax this weekend.

Both shot pretty good. Pattern was similar but the group was tighter with the AAC.

What was odd was the the AAC group was about 1.5” higher on paper than the Freedom. This leads me to believe one is shooting hotter/faster.

Putting on my ballistics hat…I think this would mean the higher on paper (AAC) means it’s traveling faster?

This would also put credence to ppl saying Freedom is under powdered/loaded weak.

It could mean it's hotter, I'm no expert.

Ejection patter is supposed to be a good indicator.

I assume Promag is considered trash on the Misc as well as the rest of the internet?

They make a mag no one else does, a 20 rounder for the FNX-45. I wish FN would make a 20 rounder and like a 40 rounder for the LOLs.

Debating getting a KAC 14.5 upper sr-15 556

Been waiting patiently on a full build (if it ever come avail). Ultimately want a 16” sr-15 556.

Thinking about just pulling the trigger on the 14.5 upper though.

I also really didn’t want to build my own gun as I haven’t went down that route.

It's as fast as it gets I think. The FFL thinks my name was pulled in the monthly audit and I just got lucky with the timing.

If you want to get the new KAC PRT can for a pinned 14.5 you have to luck into one. Or you can have it de-pinned and get whatever.

Oh I assumed it was pinned. Yeah I'd grab it because if you don't like it you can sell it for what you paid. Does it have the 3.2 bolt? I think that's the latest one.

Looking to a 4.25" ish barrel 1911, steel frame. Blue or stainless. Budget in the $1000 or less range but not set in stone.

Thinking Colt Combat Commander or Springfield Garrison 4.25"

Any other options? I keep seeing people love Rock Island these days. Maybe a guy should do that route and buy 2 as they are like $500 ha ha.
