Anyone buying the iPhone 16 ? I ordered one as I don’t think I have a choice , as the iPhone XS is not going to be supported soon,and I’m not sure if it’s a security risk .
Not sure if taking Apple Pay and banking info out of my XS would make it safe to use in the future ?

Aww chit, might have to finally upgrade from my tried and true iPhone X. It's always suited my needs and still does so phuck Apple discontinuing it. They are always real pieces of chit about that planned obsolescence bullchit, it's why I hate buying their products but sadly there is nothing better than iPhone for smartphones and I've been on it for a long time now.

iPhone 16 seems like a waste, srs. No new innovative upgrades besides chit that Android phones have already had. I'm sticking with my Pixel 5 once its repaired. Solid camera, good memory, snappy.

Might even snag a Pixel 3 as a 4G burner.

Fuk apple products. Just markups for the brand name at this point.

Well whether I like it or not I guess I’m upgrading. Just found a few sites that said it will be an issue regardless of banking chit .
I’m not seeing any point of getting the pro , as it gives you virtually nothing more than the regular iPhone except for 5x zoom . Watched a video and Tony said the 5x is terrible ,so I’ll pass .
And I agree guys,sometimes I think Apple is chit,but I’m pretty much in their echo system so I may as well stay

I almost feel like I'd just like to get one of those SE models since they're more compact, I hate big smartphones. It's why I would almost go for the standard 16 over the pro model, but the pro apparently has an impressive camera.

I hardly do anything besides basic apps like banking, uber, maps, music, and email on them anyways.

Yeah I would really like to have a good alternative to iphone and android to be honest, but if I gotta choose, based on what's available here, I guess I just gotta stick to iphone. It sucks how it feels like I'm buying into some overpriced phone with the 16 due to my X being phased out, with a bunch of features I will probably hardly ever use or generally not care about, but it seems to be the way to go if I want something that I won't have to upgrade from for a long time.

I actually like the classic clean look of the standard 16 white over the metal looks with the Pro which I feel has been sort of a played out look lately.

^^^You could buy an unlocked phone then install Logic OS or some other Open Source smart phone OS. Takes a bit of work, but seems to be worth it based on what I read on XDA developers forums. You get the hardware without the invasive software.

My noob ass wiped the bootloader for my old S7 Edge so it's no longer a test phone lol.
