49ers moves:
Re-signed:
CB Dontae Johnson
WR Jordan Matthews

Injured reserve
C/G Weston Richburg

practice squad additions
OL Kofi Amichia
CB Jermaine Kelly

So we bring back Matthews and Johnson. Curious why they brought in another receiver instead of a OL/DL player. Johnson I guess is an extra body because of Sherman.

Goodwin on IR so team must've felt we needed another WR on the roster just in case. Makes sense.

At Center Garland will come in but Person and I think even Brunskill can fill in there.

Sucks that Jason Verrett never got healthy enough to make a legit contribution. Many people, including myself, had high hopes for him but the few snaps he had were UGLY.

Dontae Johnson certainly left a chit taste in our mouths when he played before but he actually looked pretty decent in preseason. I still hope he won't see much playing time but would be nice if he could step up with our improved pass rush and not be an automatic penalty machine.

Fuuuu DJ Jones may be done for the season with his ankle injury. It didn't sound that serious at first but latest is they think it's serious enough to end his season.

Jones has been playing great for us. Really starting to pile up the injuries on D. Offense better be able to put up 40+ on the regular until some of these guys can get healthy.

Street may be activated off the IR but he's not someone who can fill in for Jones.

Man…this video was fuking awesome to watch.

Hopefully after such an emotional win we don't have a let down Sunday with all the injuries.

Have to know what's at stake.

If we can light them up with the run game that will alleviate a lot.

Injuries are starting to pile up. It would be a dream to have SEA drop one more so they can get a 2 week bye.

I really think Shanny is going to put more on Jimmy's plate these coming weeks in order to prep him for the playoffs.

Yeah I think these next games the offense will really have to keep picking things up to keep us winning. The injuries along the DL are clearly impacting us and now the injuries in the secondary will have a hard time covering up for the decline in pass rush.

Bosa is still playing great but without Ford on the other side and with the extra snaps without rest it's hard to keep up the same play.

Falcons have definitely been a much different team since their bye week and despite Ridley being hurt they still a highly potent offense and a defense which is playing well lately.
Rams have also really picked things up. Obviously they got embarassed by Baltimore but outside of that game their D has played very well and their offense is starting to get in sync as they're mixing things up more. We'll definitely feel the loss of DJ Jones in that game.

Don't even want to look ahead to Seattle right now because we have to win the next two. What looked like a sure thing a few weeks ago now may be a battle. Gotta get that #1 seed or it may be an early visit to the playoffs for this beat up roster.

Sounds like Celek is going to IR with a back injury. Feels bad for him but I think he got replaced this year with Dwelly playing pretty good.

14 guys on IR. Ugh.

Sunday we’ll be missing our starting DE, NT, CB, NCB, SS and that’s not even counting Kwon being out.

Remaining DL better bring it and the offense will have to put up a lot of points again.

Crazy that we just can’t avoid the injuries.

Yeah the niners are missing their starting corner, starting safety, starting nickel corner and Dee Ford. Wouldnt surprise me if Ryan has a good day.

Game day! Even with the injuries fully expect us to roll the Falcons! Let's hope the Panthers pull the upset on Seattle.

I think Shanny having knowledge of the Falcons system is not gonna help ATL at all. Looking to see how Street looks out there and hoping that Garland has a great game.

I think the defense will look better than most people are expecting and the offense will continue to look like a well oiled machine. I think we win by 10+ points. Go Niners!

Not surprised by the game so far, we're coming off a rough stretch and have some key guys out. Pass pro isn't as great right now but run game is doing fine. We gotta start hitting some throws this half to the WRs. Defense looks ok other than the lack of pass rush is killing us. I said this last week but we can afford to throw a blitz or two in there. We blitz the least of anyone in the league but right now we need to blitz a little. Don't go all out but send a guy or two here and there to mix it up. If we can not turn the ball over we should be fine this half. That said I'd like to see us get a turnover of our own on defense and get some more pressure on Ryan.

Falcons are a divisional thorn for the Saints, much like Seattle is for us and Rams are for Seattle. Not even remotely comparable

This was a must win game. We cannot go to the SB as a wildcard, it will not happen, zero chance

Sanders going down soft on that 2nd down kills me…and it’s not like kittle to drop that ball, he had the first in his sights too.

JG played like early weeks JG and complete sht. Forcing to kittle a bunch too, which worked against the falcons.

Awful game for us. We need the bye week more than home field in my opinion.

Edit- I will agree. There is a zero percent chance we go on the road without a week off and make the super bowl. Zero percent chance.

It would almost be a blessing to drop the rams game and just sit everyone against Seattle.
