No, but getting interested in it. What kind of rig are you building and what are you stretching out to? Caliber?
I got a MDT XRS chassis for now, but have a Foundation Samson and Manners Night Stalker on order. Also, picked up a 6.5 PRC Proof Carbon barrel so I can hunt one day.
My local club only goes out to 300 but I’m taking a 3 day class at the end of the month about an hour away and they have steel going out to 900.

I've got a fairly close club that goes to 500yd. It's like everything is telling me get started.

Registering for the free SBR stamp was the equivalent of taking the covid vax.

Any of you guys use Vedder Holsters? I bought a 5.11 LV10 Sling for the rare occasion I’m not IWB CCW but seems like I need a holster with a single clip on it to work right. I have a couple guns I would like to carry in there but dam, $75/holster seems expensive for kydex. Specially when I have a dozen high end leather holsters but they don’t have clips on them like the kydex ones. Might have to McGyver something but I hate doing that with guns and holsters.
Dammit, I might have to buy a couple
Any ideas is much appreciated

Now I'm definitely going to do my ar pistol build.
Unfortunately LaRue is still mega proud of their uppers, what's a good 11.5-12" upper in 5.56? I want to focus on lightweight and for home defense/truck gun. I'm just going to have an eotech and a flashlight on it.
Ballistic advantage still the best bet for weight and cost?
