Bent over barbell rows and pullups are my two favorites.

I actually did put an ad there once for a training partner.. I thought I spelled it out pretty good, but every ******* in the entire state of SC answered the ad. Sent pics of things that I didn't want to see…. I'll pass lol.

Bent rows with dumbells instead of a barbell. I swear by them and haven't rowed with a BB in years..

Funny you should ask, I just revamped my whole back routine. No more cable crap, dumbells, barbells and pullups for me. I like incline 1 arm DB rows, erryone does incline bench press, but I seem to be the only one doing incline DB Rows.
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

What's good OGs? Happy Hump Day! Things have been really busy the last few weeks–lifts with the trainer are still going well. I switched to sumo-style deadlifts and it's working out really well for me.

I used to like working 10s….an extra 2 hours added to 8 hours doesn't seem like much difference to me. The 3 day weekends is a huge difference though.

Try working 5 10's plus a couple hours during the weekend. I've gotten used to it so it's not that bad anymore but there are days where I do hate it.

My time in the gym is where I get away from it all. Luckily I have a desk job so I'm not too physically beat up, just mentally.

Nice Bro

my new schedule is 7 am - 330 and I hit the gym right after work and hit 2 days 3 times a week.

had a nice session shoulders and traps pretty beat to shiet after all of the training this week I may go in on some legs they have been dormant.

first set today right off the back I hit 4 reps of 85 DBs seated shoulder press, then smashed 3 sets with the 80s.

picked up some aminox and c4 50x to.

I understand. Same here. I've been working at it slowly myself. Getting up early in the mornings to get it done. Things get a bit difficult sometimes as I care my 4 y/o daughter 3-4 days a week.

That changes the game completely. I have no kids which allows me total freedom to do anything I want whenever I want.

I'm not going to allow that to hinder my progress. After all, I'm doing this 100% for me, which essentially means I'm doing it 100% for her.

I spend a lot of time at a desk too, and I find it's the mental roadblock I have to push through. Being mentally tired tricks me into thinking I'm physically tired, but once I get to the gym the energy is there.

So true. I'm usually sleepwalking until I cross the threshold in the gym and then BOOM! I wake up, the blood is pumping and I'm ready to beat myself up.
