Glad to see Amazon tanking but its gonna take the rest of the market with it fuark. AMD puts today looks like it was the play. I stayed away because of the volume on it which is at ATH levels. If volume dies down tomorrow then I probably get some

Amazon is like the BTC of stocks lol. Those spy puts i got in 10minutes before market close are already showing 18% in the after hours.

At this rate i might pursue being one of those guys who does nothing but scalp broader market indices. It's not sexy but they're the easiest flips i've been able to make. Likely going to wake up to 20% to 30% gain on the position, can cash out and just wait until it's over sold to buy calls. Only caveat is something like March2020.

SPY Options trades until 4:15, that's the change you see reflect in your portfolio.

You can sell it before then after hours, just can't do anything after that.

Hopefully if this chit tanks it’s the entire market. I got on BAC at the top and a biotech company doing earnings and a small position in SPY calls. My BAC gains already offset a 50% loss on the SPY calls

Brahs, I haven’t read the past couple dozen pages, and I also owe a few responses over DMs, but I’m about to get a substantial payout from a partnership, and I’m honestly considering piling it all into a bet against the S&P 500.

My general portfolio (PLTR, SOFI, a few smaller bets in other areas) is not generally correlated with the overall market so I won’t touch those.

From someone with a statisticians and somewhat of a worldly view, with some epidemiological background, it is scientific fact we won’t avoid some type of economic harm from the Delta variant (if you’re a science denier good for you for being so smart and better than me, I’m so dumb any argument won’t effect my view so don’t even try).

At anything less than 80% vaxxed i think we’re fukked, it will at best be a smoldering fire, but I think there’s a chance we might see a serious parabolic move in the next few weeks, and the ammo is limited with how the PPP loans and unemployment were used.


TLDR: This looks dangerous I’d bet on 25k Dow before 40k Dow.

Who has the best move if someone thought things looked dire and believed in corona.

They have a polyclonal antibody treatment in phase 2/3 right now that started in April. Warrants are cheaper than when I initially started buying so not a bad deal.

I tried shorting the market in early January 2020 seeing this coming…sadly my puts expired in the middle of the month LMFAO

Can you quantify what you mean by insane inflation? It seems like you're banking on things getting completely out of control.

What I've done to hedge is guns, gold/silver, ammo, 6 months food supply, being equipped to survive without water/electricity sources, and minimizing expenses. Don't really have use for cars/homes/land in the near term so if anything I may just buy more gold as a hedge.
Insane is a poor word, but more or less it would seem like we could see a decade of inflation similar to the 70s where inflation was averaging 6% or 7% year over year.
