The beauty about America is that everyone should be able to do whatever they want. That includes ODing on fentanyl. That's true freedom. Poverty in the US is $25k a year. Poverty in China is $700 a year. Clearly we're not comparing apples to apples.

I'd still buy Tesla over Chinese EV just because of Teslas FSD service... IDK how good Chinese self driving is, if it's on par with what Elon is doing...

My argument is not that china is perfect of course it isnt, my argument is that it is not a chithole and they have been the most succesfull country on earth during the last 4 decades and that is an argument based on stats and reality not just feels.

He talked great things about it. But as for the politics apparently the Chinese stay quiet about that shit for their safety. So there's definitely some sketchy stuff going on.
