I never liked approaching in the gym. Clubs and bars is always easiest. Beach too.

Just came with age tbh. And internet helped too with the "fuk it" mentality.

I'm an 8/10 on a good day so usually I wait for them to show interest. I never cold approach.

The thing is that even when I'm just trying to make a friend, people look at me like that. Male or female. Only the 40+ people seem interested, but it would be really weird to be friends with someone twice your age.

In these cases where the girl shows interest, you can simply say "Hi" and she'll respond positively.

The #1 reason why guys dont approach is they fear getting their ego hurt via rejection

When in reality, the thing that hurts the ego the most is not approaching at all. When you get rejected generally it turns into a good story and a laugh with the boys, but when you dont approach at all the boyos begin to think theres something wrong or werid about you

For example the other day I walked into an elevator in my condo building and this girl walked in, kind of cute

I saw her press the button for PH (penthouse) and just started talking about that.. "Penthouse huh? I've never been up there, always thought it was meant for CEOs.. You a CEO?"

Just started talking from there and it was natural conversation

Don't be the autist in that situation who says "How's it going" or "It's so nice out today, weathers great!"..

When you ask situational questions like this it really gets the other person thinking about the question and less about the approach and any awkwardness that might be there. Whereas if you say "hi" or something like that, it puts them in an awkward position too because it's almost as if you're setting them up to start a conversation
100% This... Talking about the environment instead of "hi" is the best thing and feels natural

Op just practice talking to any girl, even the ones you don't find attractive, to build up confidence, then it becomes natural and you don't have to think what to say

I usually feel more confident if I've had recent success in life, whether it be a good workout, doing well at work, reaching a goal etc. Feed off of the highs of success. Also what a miscer said the other day has genuinely made me stop being nervous towards girls and was able to get a few numbers yesterday alone without even being intimidated by these girls.

"Once you realize that most girls are losers/don't do anything outside of social media/partying, you start to realize how little their value is".

Think about it man: most women don't have the willpower to take cold showers or constantly push themselves at the gym or resist the urge to get wasted every night etc etc. Don't let the # of their instagram followers or social status deceive you: their value is often not rooted in anything substantial.

For the most part this is correct, women really have no interests besides social events and selfies. Problem is, even though they are tuned this way, if you approach them you are coming from a position of supplication, they know this, and if you don't cut the mustard then you're done!

Go out and try to get rejected by 100 of girls. You really think you are gonna care about when a girl rejects you when you actually are trying

Not the best advice to be honest. Why does it have to be situational? What if she wasn't Goin to the penthouse? You wouldn't talk to her then??
Just talk to he,r say hi, how was your day? You'll be surprised how many positive reactions you'll get by just saying that. You don't have to come up with stuff just to talk to a girl.

Thanks for the advice mane, but seems like a waste tbh. I remember PUAs like Tyler RSD (Owen), Mystery, etc used to do this to build up a rejection tolerance, but I always found it to be bit cringy.

Best post of this thread (srs)

Realized this awhile back, I'd rather be the goofball who gets denied by a few girls every once in awhile to my buddies/guys I'm with than that awkward, in the closet gay dude who never talks to girls and cowers in the background.

the 100 rejections is real though, you literally stop caring about being rejected. your heart doesn't start racing anymore, you are not nervous to approach, and you stop dwelling on the rejections which will affect you the next time you approach again

They all got the girls first and I was sort of the orbiter but I picked up a lot from watching them, and eventually found my own niche type of girl that was into me and vice versa.

That said, in my experience if you're nervous but think you have a shot then just practice small, start by walking past smiling and say hi, you'll see you get the smile back. Then next time add in some small talk, use your surroundings to create some rapport. Build a little on your comfort level each time and go from there. You appear to be a handsome young fellow and you're aesthetic as well, so now that the physical part is good as long as you make them feel comfortable around you you're in like Flynn, it's not all that hard.

Become a more out going person. Want to meet people, learn to want to do new things and have new experiences. I don't ever recall being afraid of talking to girls and I was a nerdy/athletic kid growing up. I played games, did martial arts, and sports. I was always the type who went after something they wanted and learned to enjoy all the uncomfortable situations in life. If I felt uncomfortable I thrived in that because it was challenging. Learn to love the challenge of anything in life and in no time the things you thought you'd never enjoy are the experiences you are seeking out.

Honestly I talk to them like I talk to my sister. Playful, funny, and literally like I don't give a fuk. It's the easiest way to feel natural. Plus 90% of women can smell you desperate for wanting to bang them. Just talk to them like you would a sister it comes off much more genuine. Then at some point escalate to flirting once you've established them not feeling like you just want to bang.
I woke up this morning still breathing. Might as well take advantage of it.

Working every day to be just a little stronger, healthier, or smarter than yesterday.
