I use PATH

PATH is a network of underground pedestrian tunnels, elevated walkways, and at-grade walkways connecting the office towers of Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is more than 30-kilometre long.

I honestly don't know how investment bankers study for the cfa ... I'm not even in investment banking, if I were I'd be in the office from 7am -12am and I dunno when I'd study for the exams .... I like my job and finance ... hopefully after a few years this will have been a rewarding time

Late 20's brah here. Thinking about getting a finance degree, do you recommend it? I already make ~75-80k but I don't want to do manual work when I get older, and you can make alot more in finance, I'm making as much as I ever will in my field. I also live in the states, not sure if that makes a difference.

Brad man you are doing everything right and in a better situation than a lot of people (from what I can tell your only problem is DUI and slight drug problems in past). You have a nice degree, nice starting job. Be happy for god sake.

Maintenance Electrician. It's not hard labor or anything but it is a bit dangerous and dirty. I have to climb ladders all the time, deal with heights, cold/hot weather, work in odd positions. What's a normal day for a finance professional? My company will pay for schooling and I would probably start in corporate finance.

Do you have a degree or taken college classes in past? Would you be able to do this online? (assuming you are working since company is paying for schooling)

I have an associates from a trade school and about 23 credits from local universities. I do have to continue working and I am looking at Penn State World Campus to get the whole degree online.

The best way to get rich is starting up your own business or running it by yourself. Graduating from a college and getting hired for a job will give you a maximum salary of 200k and that's after 8 plus years of working. That's being successful but normal. I'm working a job right now but i'm saving up. once I get 75k saved up i'm going to start my own business and I already know what to start it in.

Don't go above and beyond at work. It's not your company and nobody cares/notices. All it leads to is people expecting more of you and you being taken advantage of. Srs.

Do you really need to be at work an hour and 20 minutes before work starts? Do you really need to study for 3 hours every single night for an exam that's 6 months away?

This is success? This is on the path to normality.
