I dont know brehs, stuff like this is obviously more than black and white. Note - tightening down borders and stopping illegal immigration is absolutely an important thing, but I think it gets more complicated if they dont have a criminal past / have a family and seem like decent people.

Obviously Obama did this chit too but I'm just putting in a general thought about this issue.
Humanitarian? it's just Mexico

Not like they're being deported to a warzone or into the middle of a desert that has no water or food... It's Mexico, people already live there - 122 million of them

Seems like the law that turns babies born in the US be given automatic citizenship should be repealed first because that would deter people coming in and having babies just so that their child would be a citizen.

Obviously a country should strengthen their borders and not allow illegals to enter without proper documents.

I don't believe there even is a legal standing to have ever given the offspring of illegal aliens citizenship. It was a horrific twist, an absurd later interpretation, to American law. A perversion.

For now.....
a lot of immigrants actually end up assimilating despite that they may have come only to work and go back home. Your country ends up becoming their home and the only culture they know. For all we know that little girl might not even know Spanish and has likely never been to Mexico.

I'm sure your family wouldn't be too happy about being uprooted from your home.

Sure you could claim that it was illegal for them to cross the border but after ten years I'm sure some statute of limitations apply lmao... crossing the border isn't murder or rape.

I can understand being against illegal immigration but this isn't right man.

Anchor baby is when an illegal alien has a child here in America and uses that as an excuse to to stay. They are not citizens. They are considered citizens by the very same people that have been steadily destroying our nation by creating illegal laws, ignoring or reinterpretating our existing laws.

Edit- throw out all illegal aliens and their offspring. A nation has laws, borders and a culture. Those things cannot be ignored if it is to survive and be strong.

It doesn't matter if they're here for 100 years illegally. They have no right to be here.
Lol @ saying "their daughter might not know Spanish". That's funny.
why is that funny? If she was born and raised in America, why would be it be assumed that she knows anything but English?

They might not have a legal, constitutional, w.e right to be in your country but that doesn't make it right to kick people out of the country they have lived in for 10/20/30+years...

There is no constitutional right for the parents to stay.

Do you know the history of the 14 and this citizenship clause? It was to end slavery, are you against that?

If you quit your job 12 hours a day south of the border to work 7 hours a day in America, you are lazy as fuark.

Let alone not working, collecting welfare instead with your anchor baby.

Exactly it was for slaves to be considered citizens. Not illegal aliens coming over for the specific reason of having their child here to gain citizenship for the child and permanent residency for themselves. It is a horrific twisting of American law that has been used to flood our nation.

"multiple prior criminal convictions, including a DUI in 2009, as well an outstanding order of removal dating back to 2014."

L.A. is also a sanctuary city so this guy had to really mess up to get busted.

They make it out like he was just a hard working family man minding his own business taking his kids to school. he is not that. he might be their dad but he is also a criminal with multiple criminal convictions.

I suppose we are just supposed to gloss over that because, uh, Trump is hitler.

Pro tip- if you dont want to get arrested, dont commit crimes.
