Cuz its like erasing their work just cuz you dont like it. A lot of fans(if you go to movie forums like Blu-ray.com or even the AVP fansite) are happy that its not happening, esp. after his crap movies recently, like Chappie. The excitement certainly died down since the first announcement.

It holds up pretty well. And the first 2 aint CGI.

Wow. Surprising amount of Prometheus love itt. I feel like it got way too much hate and was a solid movie but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with it.

Still looking forward to this very much though.

The story is basically about David wiping out the Engineers and doing mad-scientist experiments on them, ultimately breeding the Xenomorphs from the original Alien


Also, Rottentomatoes is not the type of place I'd check reviews for this movie (personally). Most movie critics are bias against horror films and films without some sort of special underlying meaning. I'd much rather read reviews from normal people who have at least a mild interest in the series and won't watch it simply because it's their job

I liked Prometheus too. I think its big problem was that it wasn't what people were hoping for, so they hated it.

i get that they are advancing the story of the movies, but the overall plot is going to be exactly the same which is why im calling it a remake

It was all costume bro. They had live people dressed up in alien gear. The mouth was actually a mechanical tongue that used a hydraulic chamber I think to push the tongue out. I can't remember. Zero CGI in Alien & Aliens.

D9 is ok, I own it in Blu. Chappie sucks IMO. But Dickstroke said its in his top 5 movies of all time.

Because it's a specific trend with movies in the horror genre.

It doesn't matter if you're tired of hearing it, it's the truth. I'm not saying they're not credible for reviews on any movie, just not ones that generally center around monsters, violence, or terror.
