Now you are making a different point.
Holding someone is one thing. Holding them while trying to cuff them is a different challenge altogether. Even if you were twice as big and twice and strong, it would still be difficult to do when they're struggling against you.
Nobody is contesting that. I'm sure it's very hard. As previous poster said. "You try it" is not an excuse for being bad at something.

It looks silly, but this is why you often see like 5 cops handcuffing one person. It's hard to cuff someone who's resisting by yourself without injuring them.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit softly.

I see nothing wrong with the security guard. What is the issue? Why are people saying he will face firing/lawsuits or something because of what he did?

2:43 "I din du nuffin'!". lmao! you can't make this stuff up.

side note: why is it when people do stuff like this they will repeat themselves over and over again? "I'll leave if you let go!" like 100x. that would just make me even more mad.

You are completely wrong. I work retail. Our security guard basically has the right to trash you if you are stealing or being violent. She threw stuff at customers. She was violent. She's getting ****ed up.

Absolutely nothing is going to happen to the company or the security guy. I've seen my security guy handle much worse then what was in this video.

He's a poosey. You can see he's trying to use minimal force because she's a sloot, so it ends up going on MUCH longer than necessary.

Get her to the ground and use the same force you would on a man and that would have been over and she'd have been in handcuffs inside of 20-25 seconds.

Honestly the security guard should have told her to go, tried to get her to leave verbally before doing anything physical. You know some lawyer is going to pick this apart and claim assault, etc.

Would have been satisfying to see her get tased, though.

He stopped her as she was about to throw another glass bottle at another patron. You can hear it break as she drops it. I think he can easily defend himself against anyone who says he should have asked her to leave first. He intervened to stop what could have been a serious injury against a store customer.

I work for Costco. In NJ. Come try it. I've seen our security guard wrestle.,fist fight, detain... You name it. He's buddies with all the local law enforcement since he's often working with them to charge people for stealing. I've seen people try to say to the cops he's hurt them or this or that... They just laugh.

He's not identified as security he dresses like a normal person. You wouldn't know he works for us.

If you are stealing he waits until you leave the store. Duh. All places do. If you are being violent he won't wait you'll get yoked up where you stand and removed.

I've been there over 10 years and he's been there longer then me.

Maybe he has more room to breathe since we are a private store? I doubt that matters much though. A few weeks ago a guy was running out stealing and a cart guy tackled him as our security was chasing him. Nothing happened to the cart guy either.

I've been there for a long ass time and I worked pushing carts and in the photo lab both which are right st the exit door where all the good stuff goes down. I've seen it all man. We've never seen a lawsuit and neither has our security guard and I've seen him absolutely wreck people.

If this is true that is very sad. The security clearly seemed to be just waiting it out until that woman grabbed a GLASS bottle off the shelf that could severely injure someone if thrown or hit with. This dude deserves an award and a pay raise if anything. I hope target gets sued by CUSTOMERS if they don't allow the security to attempt to restrain her. If she started throwing those bottles and hit someone causing serious injury and that security guard is standing there watching I would definitely consult a lawyer.

Dude is scared for his job/knows he is being recorded. As mentioned it is not as easy as people make it out to be. If he was super rough with her he would look bad, but that is usually the only way without help to do it and that would have looked bad on film.
