I don't get why everyone is talking shyt one way or the other? What Conor did was almost monumental, switching sports and doing a semi-good job. Who else can switch sports and be okay? Tom Brady to baseball, absolutely not. We learned that MMA and boxing are two different sports and it's impossible to switch over and fight a good fighter. Give both men props to trying to put a fight on that the fans wanted.

Conor is nothing more than a slappin soggy. Dude couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag. Good on him for being game,and somewhat competitive, but he needs to go back to MMA, and never consider coming back to boxing. The killers at 54' will literally put him in the hospital.

LOL painful? McGreggor walked out of that fight after getting "TKO'd" looking more aesthetic than half the misc. I've seen people come out of pillow fights looking more swollen than that. WWE wrestlers get hurt more than that and those fights are fake.... but of course I'm not saying the Mayweather/McGreggor fight was fake.... no way would anyone do that. I wanted McGOAT to win, but I knew that was a long shot. He still did a lot better than most people thought he would and walked away with more money than he'd ever get in UFC. Deep down I don't think McGregor believed he could win, but the prospect of getting 100mil win or lose is too nice to pass up.

I think it was an interesting fight to watch and it's time to move on. Better boxer won.

No Conor absolutely believed he was going to win, 100%. Even after the fight he was still delusional, saying he had Mayweather hurt early on, and only lost because Mayweather has more "composure"

As a McGregor fan I always knew this fight was going to be painfully difficult for him. I did not think it would last beyond 3 rounds but he went for the 10 and did me proud.

With a 49 - 0 career it was pretty obvious who was going to win, but at the end of the day the build up to the fight was entertaining. Fair play to both boxer/fighter.

It's boxing, not MMA you blumpkin. You play to the rules of the fight. Connor agreed to a BOXING match, so they play by boxing rules. He's already lucky they didn't ding him for trying to take Mayweathers back and hit his head from behind, which he did on several occasions

That's like saying MMA is stupid because the rules don't let them use knives and guns like they would in a real life fight. Every single fight sport has rules
