A burglar has no motive to kill a pregnant chick and throw her in the lake over some costume jewelry and cash.
Peterson is a scumbag. He probably got afraid of the commitment involved in taking care of child so offed her before the baby was even born.

Laci's hair on the pliars is odd, because her hair was not on anything else. She and Scott were certainly not close at this point, so why the hair on pliars of all things? A mugger wouldn't move the body. Robbers wouldn't move the body. In fact if a stranger had killed her, they would not move the body, because it would only put them in more jeopardy. Scott told Amber he was a widower and his wife had goine missing three days before she went missing. You are right, it is far from an air tight case, but there is too much circumstantial evidence to ignore. It is well beyond a reasonable doubt.๏ปฟ

Do you carry around that much cash and IDs with a pregnant ready-to-burst wife at home?

Did you know that 6 pregnant ladies were kidnapped in the last 2 years in and around the area? This was not new yet the media never mentioned of this. Was Scott guilty for those incidents as well? If you haven't see the show you should because you're acting like an angry feminist that wants a man fried for allegedly murdering his pregnant wife. LOL
It's called a fair trial but it is only fair if everyone does their job right. Unfortunately the Modesto P.D. fukked up royally. How do you now follow up with all the witnesses when Laci was walking the dog. It would have changed the entire fukked up timeline they had. They ignored the mailman and they ignored the timing of the burglar and phone call made about the burglar. They even ignored the phone call from the prison in regards to the criminals mentioning Laci over the phone. Explain that to me. I'll wait....
The jury fukked up and were heavily swayed by the media. They all were a bunch of idiots and when interviewed after the whole thing was over they could NOT explain how Scott did it. They just made up chit and had already painted Scott guilty in their minds regardless of the half ass evidence the prosecutors had.
The judge was biased as fukked. The defense proved there was no way Scott could have dumped the body from the boat on water as they prosecution stated because they small fishing boat kept capsizing over yet the judge denied this evidence.
Then the prosecution did the very same thing but on land and the judge viewed this evidence as facts. WTF? what an idiot.

Did the dad and brother corroborate his story of going golfing shortly after he was arrested (not now)?
Again, it's not normal for a guy to leave his pregnant wife when she's almost due to go partying.
Why was she in the lake and not at home dead on the floor (because that's where a burglar would have left her)?

All things are suspicious, but nothing points to proof he did it. He had other items because he was living in a county far away trying not to be recognized. If dude wanted to flee the police - he would have done it long before they found the body.
It's also silly to say what and what not a burglar/mugger would do. The police couldn't even pinpoint the exact actions and times of death (day of opening testimony they get proved wrong based on Scott watching a TV show and quoting part of it) yet we're going to assume the actions of a burglar would be logical?
There was a guy who saw Scott on the boat, his little boat, and saw nothing in there. If he dumped the body in the water, when did he do it? They can't pinpoint when the actions took place. The police decided to never interview that guy or keep him retained for the future.
The timeline doesn't add up... someone was at home using the computer to search sunflower lamps or some shyt in the morning yet he was also supposed to be dumping her body then or would have to make a FAST drive, an impossible one, to be at work as an alibi.
Dude was suspicious? Yes, I'll agree... but there were too many issues from what I've seen so far and they've done a great job at casting doubt IMO on the show.

Divorce would have been cheaper. They weren't even married that long. He would have recovered financially in no time and wouldn't be sitting in prison right now.
EDIT: Forgot she was pregnant. Ya he was already fuked lol

taken from reddit
1. Several neighbors claim they witnessed Lacy Peterson walking her dog AFTER Scott left for work, and there is evidence that once he arrived at work he logged into his computer. If this is true it seems almost impossible he murdered her.
2. The cadaver/tracker dogs that apparently led detectives to the fishing pier where he launched his small boat had expired or invalid training certificates, casting doubt as to how accurate the dogs were.
3. Several people at the boat ramp specifically saw Scott that day and said he had nothing unusual in his boat (which was a small aluminum Jon boat). Someone loading a human sized bag onto such a small boat would have been noticed, say the witness at the marina.
4. The defense team performed tests to see if it would be possible to dump a 150 pound human sized object from such a small boat and all tests indicate that the boat would capsize during something like that.
5. Several witnesses reported seeing someone who looked like Laci being harassed by two men in a park, they were following her while she walked her dog and yelling at her.
6. I had always thought him guilty when he was arrested with his brothers ID, bleached hair and a large amount of cash. Something I never knew was Scott claimed that he was meeting his brother and father at a golf course, had changed his appearance to avoid the press (which is understandable since he was hounded constantly).
7. There was a home broken into across the street from their house the day she disappeared. The police changed dates and claimed that it was irrelevant.
EDIT 8. There was (I'm pretty sure) and ex-detective who was investigating as a P.I. and went to the police station to ask them about all these issues and he was basically told to F off and was intimidated, his tires slashed, etc.
If anyone has more things please post them below, and please feel free to correct any of my points as I am writing this from memory (and admittedly have not seen every episode yet).
I still think there is a strong chance he is guilty, especially if you consider his affair with Amber Frey, but it seems the cops totally botched this investigation, either intentionally or through incompetence. Perhaps they knew somehow he was in fact guilty and skewed the investigation to ensure a guilty verdict but this whole thing seems pretty strange to me. Could he be innocent?

I also watched The Keepers. Yeah I kind of agree... the first episode was pretty juicy though... it was some crazy **** but it really went nowhere. It took them forever to address the similar murder and they veered off.... it was a sad situation and at first it seemed to be about the murder but by the end it seems it was more about the church coverups and just moving the priests around.
It kind of fizzled out towards the end... I definitely wanted it to be better than it was.

Why was she in the lake and not at home dead on the floor (because that's where a burglar would have left her)?
Did the dad and brother corroborate his story of going golfing shortly after he was arrested (not now)?
Again, it's not normal for a guy to leave his pregnant wife when she's almost due to go partying.

Scott went fishing not partying. The golfing thing happened during the investigation and yes the Dad and brother had all planned this.

But don't want to get off topic. Gotta watch this series. Sounds pretty good.

Goodbye.

You have given no evidence to his guilt whatsoever. What is and isn't "normal" is subjective and is not evidence to a murder.

You want to join in the conversation but haven't even watched the show. I haven't either so I just don't join in.

Just think for a moment it could be any one of us in jail for a crime we did not commit. That is downright scary.

Let's say they were all "debunked" there is still 0 legit evidence that he killed her.
