Yes.
I don't think it is for everyone though, nor do I think avoiding loneliness in old age is a reason to have children.
There is no way to know ahead if you will have healthy "normal" kids, or kids with issues that make life harder.
It is a change in viewpoint for certain. When you see your child happy you feel happy without even thinking about it. On a dark day they can shine a bright light.
Then some days they will wear you down.
And you will do your best to raise them well with no issues, certainly try to avoid the things your parents messed up. Maybe you will avoid making the same mistakes.
You'll make your own new ones and not realize it until after the fact.
Raising children is what you could call a growth opportunity.

I can't help but think something will feel like it's missing if you don't have kids especially if you're married. Money can always be made and you can get a better job but you can't go back and have kids once you're too old unless you adopt.

Unless someone is very rich and only has 1-2 kids I actually resent and hate them deeply for bringing more low IQ primitive degenerate suffering leeches into the world.
Not because I particularly care about right wing/ l faire economics or anything like that, could not care less, but it just seems pointless and cruel for the kid's. Unless you're going to insure a top tier life for them and teach them to be strong smart individuals who see above the world's bs, and lets be honest, 99% of parents won't, and no one on the misc is going to either, so just lol
I already resent my parents for creating me and 7 other siblings. Having children is honestly the worst thing a person can do in my eyes.
This is why I love white people in 2017. They seem like the only people smart enough to realize life is a scam and creating it is man's original sin. Inshallah we will evolve to the point where very little people have kids, just enough to replace the population once it gets below 2 billion or so (a man can dream).

I find it sad when kids are the absolute best thing to happen to a guy. Girls I understand because they are wired for it. But some males need kids in order to fill a void in their life.
Are you missing out on something? Absolutely. But if you have a kid, then you miss out on other stuff. I think guys who don't live with their kids have it th ebet. They are basically like grandparents, which means you get the fun parts without all of the day to day hassle. I love my daughter to death and she has changed my personality a bit. But if I never had her I'd be perfectly happy with my life anyways.

I'm not going to speak for everyone, because some dudes need to stop their bloodline with themselves. But for me, it has been super fulfilling and has given me a new sense of purpose and drive to be the best example I can be for my son. And I didn't know how I was going to react, because other people's kids make me super uncomfortable and I generally don't like them at all.

You get all of that back eventually
I don't think everybody should have kids but it is definitely a life experience that changes and enhances you as a human.
It's hard and things you value change. There are parts of you and your relationship need to put on the back burner for a few years but they come back with time and effort too. And you discover new things that are completely life enhancing
I do believe children need mothers and fathers though and ideally ones in a loving, strong and stable relationship. You need to have that to get through the early years ...and your sexlife and relationship does take a battering ...but that comes back too
I think you can be happy and fulfilled without children and if you choose that nobody should try to change your mind.

Married and never having kids crew. I'm sure it makes you more mature, but if you never have kids you don't need to be. My wife and I were tired so took a nap from 4-8pm tonight then went out to eat at a bar and got home at about 11:30 tonight, she went back to sleep and I played a little rainbow six wth friends. I enjoy this lifestyle too much to stress about raising a child in our ****ed up world.

Few years down the road it was like a light switch went off, no longer did I not want a kid. I waited till I was done with school and in my career before having one w/ a wonderful girl I later met.
4 month old son, sorry misc, the manlet genes are getting carried on, hnnnnggg.
Never loved someone like the way I love my kid. Feels weird being called a dad though.
Think about your relationship with your dad, if you have a good one with him I guess, and know you will have someone that looks up to you and being their world. Watching your son grow up and becoming a man. Can't wait for those experiences.
