This place is 99% men (including a lot of FAs that get excited at the thought of a female communicating with them). If someone comes in claiming to be female, especially one seemingly looking for attention, they'll probably get called out. Why? Because there are numerous occasions of posters pretending to be women and trolling.

To be honest though, I don't really care either way unless it's contextual/relevant to the topic or post that you are a particular gender.

No it's because people like you turn up and act like fking fruitbats. It makes people suspicious, and also them being banned for frauding is an easy way to get rid of said fruitbat.

If you'd turned up and started posting normally this would not even be an issue, even if you were technically frauding.
