Getting up early is great andfeels healthier I don't believe that your body is made to be up too long when the sun isn't up yet.

Much more productive and I think differently and get less distracted.

Used to do 05:00 when I was single, it had a benefit of missing the traffic for the commute and keeping me out of trouble at night cos I went to sleep earlier.

You still need your 6-7hr sleep regardless of the time you get up, so it doesn’t miraculously give you more time (unless you would waste time otherwise, like my example with traffic).

Up at 5-5:30, for work, I do like it but its definitely not the same on weekends, more like 7-8ish.

Goat getting to work in zombie mode until 10 and half the days gone, out at 2, gym 3-30 home 6ish to chill.

Sometimes I wonder if working from home would be GOAT... Or just kill me slowly from lack of social contact.
I think if I worked from home I'd be super unproductive. The same reason why I hate trying to workout at home/have a home gym.

I've always felt like 6AM was a good time to wake-up. Early enough to catch the sunrise if you wish. Still beat a lot of people outdoors/traffic. And you can stay up til midnight comfortably and get enough sleep.

i seem to function better at night. If I do wake up at 5:30am of a morning, i'll make sure i'm in bed by 10:00 - 10:30 the night before, otherwise i feel like crap the next day.

Used to get up between 4:30 and 5:30am every day, including weekends. Thought it was the shyt at the time, but then realized I might as well chill on the weekends and not be a hermit. Life has since been much much better.

It's a great feeling for sure, but can't wake up at 4 if you can't go to sleep before 12. What time do you guys go to sleep? I would have to be in bed by 10 to make that happen. Not sure if I can do that.

Been having issues since it got colder (40 degrees is cold in the morning in Santa Cruz, srs), trying to be out of bed by 9:00 am, usually don't get out until 9:30 am. Walk the dog and get to the gym around 10:30 - 10:45. Sleep by 12:30 - 1am during week.

I agree. My body is 200% more productive when I wake up early and sleep early. Though I currently enter work around 9 plus I live close and on weekends I like to sleep in so I don't do it. But I know when I do...especially on the weekends, I am on a high the whole day and do so much stuff. Shiiet I might be missing out on these feels. Takes determination to not stay up though.

Am I the only one that can't keep the normal routine when dont need to go somewhere (holidays for example). For example:

Day 1 - Wake up 8am // Sleep 12pm
Day 2 - Wake up 10am // Sleep 2am
Day 3 - Wake up 12am // Sleep 4am
...
Day X - Wake up 6pm // Sleep 10am

Can't sleep sooner cuz I need to eat. Can wake up sooner (and sleep less) ... but ...laziness.

Am I the only one?
