Just got one. It's good but nothing extraordinary. The Google picture ID doesn't work all that great but it's fast and so is the fingerprint ID

I've been hearing good things. I have 2 iPhone 7's. 1 for personal and 1 for work.

They're both super buggy right now. The updates Apple is pushing out are garbage. Makes me want to throw them against the wall.

I'm thinking of going with the 8. But only because I'm too entrenched in the Apple ecosystem, and being able to AirDrop stuff is too damn nice. If anybody knows of anything like it on the Android side of the fence, please let me know because I think the 8 will be my last iPhone. I'm not going with the X because I prefer a fingerprint scanner.

it's great. ios11 had a lot of issues but most of them are fixed at this point

i don't know man... a lot of phones have caught up. sure the camera won't be as good 100% but the actual experience of using it day to day won't be any different. instagram/********/whatsapp etc. no difference.

That's why I'm leaning that way. I'm on a 6 now and upgrading this week but am leaning in the 8+ direction.

What do you want the home button for? Swiping up from the bottom of the phone now performs the same function that the home button used to.

I thought it would bug me, too, but not having one doesn't bother me, tbh. You get used to it pretty quickly, and once you do, everything's more seamless than having to press the home button.

I have 6 plus. Never updated. Only app that crashes and freezes the phone is tinder and my guess is apple is doing it intentionally considering its not a powerful app.

I have it op and it works just fine. If youre going with Apple, get it. The store kept saying all the older people kept returning the X for the 8 so depending on your age and what youre used to, you might want the 8. Old people usually arnt good with tech according to apple.

I don’t have the x couldn’t justify spending the extra cash so I got the 8 plus and I hate it super buggy especially with all the updates. I will switch to Samsung in the future since Apple is slowing phones and my 8 plus is having trouble. With that said the camera on the 8 plus is pretty darn good for a phone and the phone is really fast.
