iPhone X Owners- Does It Really Suck?

Planning to get one soon. But many people say it sucks, that face ID dont work, etc. Or are these just from jelly/haters?

How do you like it, especially to those who have it for more than a month.

It doesn’t suck, it’s just not worth the $1000 price tag.

I had it for a couple weeks then returned it and kept my 7 plus.

My 8 is buggy as hell ever since the major iOS update a few months ago. Apple really dropped the ball admitting they slowed down older phones on purpose with the new updates

I have the X on hand just been too lazy to activate it lulz

I have the 7, but thinking about upgrading soon. Would it be better to save money and get the 8+, or go with the X?

My brother went from 6S to 8 and has no regrets about not going for the X. It really all depends on if price is a factor for you and what you use your phone for. I love it, but it should've been 300.00 less than what I paid for.

Apple really fuked up by having the same software on the Plus line, and the non-X line.

I really loathe by 8, its stupid to have software I cannot use. Updates I don't need. And all around its garbage to use.

I've had it since day 1. Great phone. Is it worth the price tag? Probably not. If they dropped the price $150 it would be decent value for money. Either way I'm actually waiting for the 6.5 inch iphone X2. That will be my next phone that i keep for 2-3 years unless phone technology makes some huge quantum leap in that time frame.

I've got the X

Only complaint is the face recognition doesn't work very well if you're wearing sunglasses. Other that that, it's all good. I appreciate the big screen without being as big in your hand as the old plus models.

I use my phone doezens of times per day, everyday, for 3 years. Then after that, my kids get it. I get more than $1000 of use out of it.

Definitely. I have the X and going back to a phone with a button seems archaic.

Really? That's the biggest reason I haven't gotten one yet, I thought I'd miss the ease of just touching the home button to unlock

I had the 8 originally but few days later realized the X was a better option. In my opinion the phone is great I personally have not had a problem with Face ID. I feel like the people that do probably look like McFreako. The OLed screen is great and the speakers are clear and loud. My friend was giving me chit about the purchase but I think he was just jelly.

All you have to do now is tap the screen. If you tap while looking at the phone = automatic unlock

What if you tap the screen and the phone is in your pocket or something? Any way to unlock?

There is nothing about mine that I don't like. It's funny how literally smooth it is. If you set it on anything with a slightly angled surface it's sliding around. FYI, I never use a case for my phones.
