I would like to know the average salary of a college educated worker living in a densely populated area. Because that is the demographic of the average miscer. Accounting for the average of all workers means a lot of minimum wage part time and seasonal workers.

thats not the average person though. You can always search out "median income in X city in the US".

That will get you closer to the answer you want

I get your point about miscers hardcore e stating how much they make but on the flip side there is some grain of truth to it if they live in large cities.

You are right in the sense that people can get by with less than they think but $45k really is nothing in a lot of places.

$45k is about $21-22 per hour. That's decent money especially if you have dual incomes.

If you're making $80,000 a year, that's roughly $55-$60,000 after taxes. Let's say you spend $1,700 on rent/mortgage. What else could possibly be draining your wallet to the point you're struggling financially? You should around $3,300 left per month. Even with a car payment of $1,000, you're still looking at $2,700 after taxes.

Learn to manage your money better.

COPE thread. Let's face reality, $100k aint much. A number of professions can get you there if you aren't lazy/stupid. Doctors, Lawyers, CPA, programmer, CRNA, PA, NP, Pharmacist, actuarary, all under age 30 and over $100k easy. If you think $45k is good money for anyone over age 25 you have a small peasant brain. Poor people have worse marriages, contribute nothing to society, etc. Don't be one of those people.

Chit, i drive an old as fuk car - still works fine, sub 140k miles, own it outright, costs me maybe $1500 a year in maintenance/servicing/car insurance.
