If you gross $45k, annually...huge congrats!
You’re way above average! The average single tax filing for people in the US is just under $35k...
A lot of really dumb chit gets said about money on these forums so it’s nice to remind brahs...especially the young ones...you’re doin well and should be positive and keep pushing to improve.
I used to think the $60k a made at my old job was low until you look at numbers and realize it’s absolutely not. I’m very fortunate to have gotten a chance at making even more and know what it takes to do that so again...the money threads you young guys see here are mostly garbage.
Be happy knowing you’re ahead of the game. I’ll bet if we looked at numbers you’re way above average in the gym is well...keep it up!

strong cope, OP.
the average guy is making 35K/yr plus his undeclared income, driving with dealer plates, lifting at his buddy's condo gym, etc.

That's a somewhat misleading way to look at it, as stagnant income for much of the population is exactly why the middle class is shrinking. Unless you live somewhere where the cost of living is quite low, $35k is barely getting by, especially once you take out taxes.
That said, you're right that people should have a positive where they're looking to improve instead of having a defeatist one.

Good thing every miscer is an absolute prodigy and in the top 1% of their field right out of college so they don’t have to worry about it.

True stroy.
Brb miscers think you need 250k a year to live in a 1 bedroom condo.
If your banking 50k a year (single) then you can live an awesome life.
