Think it mostly depends on lifestyle

But:
It also prob decreases because a lot of people get comfortable in relationships. I have always stayed the same after getting into a relationship but a lot of my friends go downhill physically once they get into one. Basically their diet turns to chit because they eat whatever the gf wants and they stop working out as much or altogether because the girl wants to hangout more. Seen numerous relationships were they both go in looking decent and end up both looking bored and bloated after a year.

4 years seems pretty early for it to drop off massively, but a lot of that would depend on the people and a huge range of factors

Varies on the couple Im sure. Im ok with less sex as long as the sex we do have is amazing. Quality over quantity. I have a pretty high libido but honestly during the week we have both been working all day, then the gym, then cooking and clean up, and by that time Im exhausted and I just want to watch some TV and hit the hay. Would rather save for the weekend and have energy and time to do it right. GF is fine with this too, as long as your libidos are compatible ”normal” is whatever works for you as a couple.

if his sloot is declining his advances she is not into him anymore and he also doesn't know how to lay down the pipe properly or she would at least want to feel a good fking once a week

I'm not disputing that sex decreases as relationship age increases. You're sensationalizing it based on a joke

My sex drive dropped a bit. I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend just as much as I do having sex with her. Used to be big on the snort lines finger nines game. Not anymore.

Novelty might wear off, but if you still got the feelz for the old sloot after several years, you'll still find coitus appealing with her.

Some men never get over banging the same woman. They settle and then realize 20 years later how they should've waited and kept enjoying the field.

Once you get over needing/wanting a partner for happiness or comfort, the idea of marriage sort of goes out the window. Only exception for me personally would be a woman with a career or set goals. Of course she has to lift lulz.

Men and women don't take care of themselves in long-term relationships like single people generally do, that's the problem. Both in physical shape and general aesthetics. More repsonsibilites(spouse, kids) means less time for going to gym, cardio, etc.,, and also means there's less effort to attract the opposite sex(primping, flirting, nights out).

This is always why people cheat. When Timothy is at work and comes across Stacey the co-worker who goes to the gym/yoga class 4x a week, has glow from daily primping, and who's flirty since she's single....he's going to be attracted to her. It's no diss to his wife Jan, it's just that she's probably had 2 kids and never really gotten back into shape post pregnancies. She probably doesn't flirt or use seduction at all anymore which gets boring for Timothy. Jan the wife also gets frustrated since she doesn't feel wanted, and spend her days working and taking care of whiny gen Z kids once she gets home.

Moron checking in.. Was with my ex for 5 years, we trained together, went home and routinely watched each other fap. No I joke, we did the naughty.. Even near the end we was still humping like rabbits.

I'm not sure if every individual has a timeframe of when they " get bored ' but 5 years for me and I was still 4 times a week without fail, plus a naughty fap here or there.

I'm not buying the whole people get bored story until I experience it my self, if you've experienced it.. sucks but, don't project your experiences as facts of life onto others.

That is a BS study, since they cannot say that those in LTRs weren't already low in test.

anyways, 4.5 years and still go at it like animals. also been on no fap for a month before we got together. Maybe that has something to do with it?

strong user name to opening line...

One thing definitely worth noting, is IS THE SEX GOOD? Do both partners TRULY enjoy it? Sex in the beginning is always "good" because you're new. But after time you can determine if it is something you BOTH enjoy, look forward to, have fun even in the most boring of positions, etc. If you have truly GOOD sex, you will continue to be just fine.

Rabbit stays in shape, that's likely the big difference. Physical fitness is major influence on libido, whether you're young/old, single, married. It's just rare for people in long-term relationship to stay fit, most let themselves go.

True, i guess even within that study you could then say men with lower testosterone are inclined toward relationships

There are tons of studies on this, its pretty widely supported. Just google "mens test drops in relationships"

https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...18506X03001259
http://www.psypost.org/2015/05/study...osterone-34506
Reduced testosterone is thought to promote relationship building and caring for children instead of pursuing mates. From an evolutionary perspective, this behavioral shift is important to ensure that after a man secures a mate and produces offspring, his offspring are provided with adequate care. The researchers point out that, “men in new relationships are still in a physiological state that aids competition with other men for access to potential mates.”

He’s not wrong, my libido took a nose dive when I was overweight and uncomfortable in my own skin, and I suppose my relationship did too

Fixed it though

No life follows a straight path ...it’s a roller coaster and people give up too easy on relationships that can weather the storm with a bit of effort

People don’t fight for what they committed too ...those that do, prosper
