How about we just stop sending people be cannon fodder for proxy wars and we won't be spending any unnecessary money on any of it?

People should know by now what war is. The first & second world wars are extremely well documented, troops barely ever escape being mentally unscathed.

If men want to keep their boners, why join the military? I might be being a bit upfront here but I'm keeping it real. We all know what war entails. It's not a video game where you're sitting in your underwear with snacks in your room and can turn it off after you see your friend get blown to pieces.

The whole scene is rotten to the core. It feels beyond repair. We're just bickering about it because we're bored and like to complain. Chit needs to get done.

To an extent yes, but with obvious limits. Anyone who believes they were born "another" gender is mentally ill. I do not want people with mental illness to be operating weapons, multi million dollar equipment, handle information that can cause death, and lots of other common sense reasons. Especially women who "transition" into becoming men. I do not want a person who in their core is feminine and is easily influenced by emotion. Recipe for disaster. Noncombat roles and non-security clearance jobs would be best for them. Logistics and paperwork. Not combat roles, mechanic roles that human lives depend on, not intelligence roles and certainly not missiles/cyber/nuclear.

The purpose of the military is to seek out and find the enemy and to kill them. I believe they should be allowed to join, excluding direct combat roles (same as women).

Many of these can (and often are) waived. Additionally qualifications change, especially during recruitment drives to expand the services.

Not all mental health conditions are disqualifers. Even those that are have about a 33% waiver rate.

There's already a lot of mental illness in the military. Soldiers coming back from deployment (who didn't get into chit) claiming depression/anxiety/PTSD ect


There's already a lot of military personnel that are enlisted who are weak of mind and body. Why should we let the organization become a science experiment further weakening it?

The costs for these surgeries is another issue on it's own.

I also agree. Too much effort is being put into this. But at the same time, hypocritical allowances are made for this crowd simply because of their sexual preferences that would not be made other wise. They are nothing more than political ammunition. At least the conservatives are trying to stay consistent while the liberals do
what they do best: identity politics and encourage the handling of minority groups with kiddy gloves because they believe that they will never succeed without special treatment.
