some of the worst injuries I have known bodybuilders to get have happened outside the gym, rather than while they are training . Bending over to pick up a shopping bag, back gets fuked, chasing after kids on holiday, tear your hamstring completely leg looking a bit of raw meat from the bruising.... Hell didn't arnold almost end his career by slipping off a posing stage breaking his leg? I would guess von moger is carrying such a lot of weight,as well as the orange juiice ,affects the tendons ,he is trying to do extreme jackass style stunts when he does not have the body for it anymore. There isn't much money in bodybuilding itself, and he makes his being a social media personality ,hence the stunts. I think he needs to sit down and have a long hard think about what he wants in life or he will end up in a wheel chair the way he is going.
I bang trannies.

Shows how strong and vulnerable the human body can be. Dude can squat 5 plates, but pressure at a certain angle destroys his knees.

Dude probably had the best genetics out there. He rarely ever cooked and always ate out. His post workout meal was in n out 99% of the time. RIP

Taking the good old OJ for like 10+ straight years with no time off of drinking that good stuff sure seemed like a healthy choice.
Though it sucks for him, I just have to laugh at that causing his knee to buckle and tear his quad. Like, you may be 250+ lbs shredded, but you're just a weak little pussy. srs
Watched his chitty vlogs for a while there too. Always looked good, didn't need dat der.

Watching vids of this guy hanging around cliff edges, you just know he's going to go a similar way to Greg Plitt...
Starting weight 130lbs
Current stats: 6"2, 210lbs.
The 8th and final rule: If this is your first night at Gym Club....... you have to squat.

This dude took to many bicycle trips and not let his ligaments catch up or what?

He'd have literally be better having a bit of slack in the rope and taking a running jump off the edge and swinging back into the face of the rock and landing by compressing his legs against it. IE the type of chit you'd see in a movie.
People who are super apprehensive/scared about rappelling are always the ones that screw up.

I really can't see how he hurt himself but I guess it was a freak accident. Dude should be in his prime though.
I'm not sure about his level of athleticism, doesn't he skate? You would think that would build up some balance and different kinds of strength in the legs.

in other words...throw some agility drills / lateral movements at the very least in to your training

It isn't talked about enough in the bodybuilding industry.
So many brahs with shoulder/hip/forearm issues would benefit so much from core stabilizer and supraspinatus exercises.

just cause you can ride a bike , which stresses your tendons and ligaments to no end, doesn't mean you can do all sorts of other activities

"anabolic substances" only build the muscle, not the surrounding ligaments and tendons. If you hop on the sauce and ego lift your muscles can handle the weight but the ligaments cannot unless you've been lifting for years. You rarely hear of accidents like this from natty guys because the limitations of their muscle strength stops them from lifting a weight that will tear tendon. When you're on "the sauce" you don't have that connection.
edit: just watched the video
He's got some serious issues with mobility. He's gaining weight too fast for the body to keep up. Those are the type of injuries a young fat person would have from accidentally slipping off a curb. He needs to dial it back a bit.
