They aren't "savages". Also those of you talking chit about China are forgetting they have the best engineering schools in the world. SRS. Average IQ in China is higher than that of the US. i think its becuase alot of mainlanders were poor farmers because of the communism and mao. And not until recently, maybe like 10 years ago, they started to get increased living standards and could also afford to travel. But the farmer mentality still exist since it hasn't been that long since they were just poor farmers. And inb4 mods ban me, i'm not saying this as something racist. it's just what i believe is the cause

This is the truth, but don't underestimate them. The rate of China's expansion is incredible. In 20-30 years, they will officially be a developed country, and they are almost certainly going to expand into a powerhouse economy and global economic superpower with influence rivaling or exceeding the US in the next 50.

In our lifetimes, we will likely see the Chinese overtake the US in economic dominance.

Maybe. Its a lot of bubble-esque growth right now with little future planning or any form of quality control or regulation. Most of the stuff they make is trash; I'm talking brand new buildings wherein the walls are cracking within 5 years...but they've got a million of them going up! Their cars are still terrible, which is why no Chinese with any real money would ever be caught dead in a Chinese car. This kind of wild and economic growth isn't sustainable.

I get what you're saying, but don't confuse their willingness to work for ingenuity. Their (communist) economy is wildly inflated and has begun showing signs of bursting over the last three years. They are becoming westernized, yes, but what will that do to their culture of simply being willing to out work the competition? The Chinese government stands on its own people's backs to hold them down, stifling its own innovative potential...which you are right about; they do have plenty of potential.

They're huge, they're growing, and they're a world power, but I would not call China a threat to the rest of the developed world until they allow their own country to develop itself.

there's mainly two kinds of people i hate in this world. chinese and east indians.

Can confirm. Saw some of that in Tokyo, including a Chinese azzhole on the Ginza line talking loudly on his phone while the rest of the train was quiet. Everyone stared at him and he gave no fukks.

thats what happens when you give peasants money; they still act/behave like peasants and the money reinforces the bad behavior. if you think about it, up until 30 years or so ago, most of china was poverty farm workers.

Had Chinese twink spend 5 mins at the water fountain and I told him to go downstairs where all the twinks fill up water bottles. Him and friends got offended walked off and start doing karate kicks in front of the mirror.

I proceeded to curl 90lbs barbell and go and do chin ups like a sikhkunt displaying size and flexibility. They went downstairs soon after
