Please aware me on Chinese people and pavements, srs

So I work on various university campuses and come across alot of Chinese students. Every fuking day I see them walking down the middle of the road when there are pavements with no one on. They constantly walk out right in front of cars, bikes and buses. Which results in them getting hit, which they get mad about.

In addition to this they stand at a road crossing and dont cross, uwotm8? Are roads not roads over in Chinaland?

In for srs, semi-srs and not srs answers.

chinese rant thread? ok.

i was at home depot the other day, at the self checkout register. two chinese fobs came up within 10 inches of me and stood next to me. i looked at them like "wtf" and they just kept standing there. i said "excuse me" as i had to reach over, they barely moved and kept talking.

i paid for my shyt and left.

did i get dominance asserted on me?

There are 1.4billion people in China so personal space is not a thing anywhere. On the sidewalk, in restaurants, buses, etc. If there is an unoccupied square inch of space somewhere it's free game for someone to occupy it, does not matter if it's on top of you.

I was in Beijing for a week once and elevators were the worst. Elevator full of people riding to the lobby level, large group of people in the lobby waiting for the elevator. The minute the door opens everyone floods into the elevator, no waiting for it to clear out. You get stuck and have to ride back up, your problem. It's frustrating as hell and they aren't trying to be rude, it's just how life is in China.

That said, this isn't China and you got mogged by two guys smaller than you.

I was in China for christams with the gf and her family. Thank god i didnt go into any elivators. I did notice some subway stations people made a mad dash for the seats though. I legit would be pissed if they pushed me into an elevator as i was trying to get off.

As for the pavement thing Yes in China people just do wtf ever they want. In traffic people cutting each other off constantly/Pedestrians feeling they have the right to just walk when and where ever they want (except at major cross walk lights)

In Shanghai i saw some one walk right out onto the road, the person on the car had to slam his breaks then he honked at the person that walked onto the road. The guy on the road was all pissed off like he did nothing wrong.

They are literally upside down when they come to the UK. Imagine walking around and all you see is the sky below you and earth above you. You have to give them a break. Especially the squinting ones, they already have bad eyesight and now with everything upside down... good luck.

In all seriousness, crosswalks are not a thing in urban China that I ever saw. It's either find an underpass or LOL, good luck with your sprinting through oncoming traffic goals in 2018.

Legit Chinese folk are some of the most awkward and confused people you will ever encounter. I go to disneyland at least twice a month, and I am constantly baffled by how seemingly lost these people seem. Don't understand how lines work, confused about moving pathways (people movers), I just don't understand how they can get anything done ever...

This is exactly what I am referring to but in the UK.

Also are chinese elevators ones that you can travel between higher and lower floors at terminal velocity?

I personally think it's a lack of values and respect for others/life.

I don't mean to throw a blanket of judgement across an entire nation, but damn man - look at their greed, how it's poisoning their air supply. Look at the way they treat their animals. Look at how they'll throw any combination of chemicals/substances into a product in order to manufacture it as cheaply as possible. Look at the videos of them running over their pedestrians / crashing their cars into other vehicles. Not a good culture at all, and this is what it breeds: selfishness, lack of respect, greed.

i know your feels bro. living in hawaii, we get tons of them on vacation and they are by far the worst tourists. no manners and will literally cut you off or walk in front of you. waiting in line? they will jump right to the front. they expect you to walk around them but wont do the same. i'm at the point that if i know they are chinese, i intentionally stand my ground, be it walking or standing, and let them bounce off of me. its funny seeing the reaction of a 125 pound chinaman fall to the ground because he bounced off me.

these people are just oblivious buffoons. i was at the beach with my family and a group of them decided to set up right next to us. of all of the places on an open beach, they decided to plop right next to us? wtf? while they were setting up , one of them stepped on my son's foot. i swear to god i snapped and pushed this guy as far as i could. instead of appologizing, he was yelling at my son for being in the way. 3 middle aged balding fat chinese manlets wanted to fight me. my wife and some other beach goers had to stop me from swinging my shovel at them... cops came and told them to leave. totally ruined my day.... but that's how chinese people are. culturally inept and inconsiderate buffoons

i hate being an ass hole to them but the chinese deserve it.

This is a product of Mao's cultural revolution which taught a whole generation (who are now in their 50's-60's) that education was a bourgeoisie element and that they were entitled to do whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted. This "Lost Generation" (as its referred to) of under-educated people encompasses the majority of the inconsiderate, rude, morally empty demographic of Mainland China. Unfortunately, since China (and Asia as a whole) is a society with heavy importance placed on valuing your parents/grandparents, this generation has spread these plagued mindsets down, although the younger generation is getting a LOT better and picking up Western societal norms. Still however, with Mao's destruction of Chinese cultural history and the economic boom of China's economy, they've created a vacuum wherein money is literally God, which is where the abhorrent greed and "step over anyone for a dollar" mindset comes from.

If you go to Taiwan for instance where the Chinese Nationalists fled to after Mao's rise to power, you'll find that the people there are much more socially developed. Its cleaner, more considerate, etc, etc.

Something else I remember now. I stayed in bangkok for a week for work and there were chinese tourists on my floor. Now I am being ded fuking srs here. They would keep me up all night running up and down the corridor into each others room in the hotel spitting, fuk knows where. But all I could hear was disgusting snorting and gobbing into the early hours of the morning.
