Turning 30 in less than a month and I’ve been living at home for the last few years. I’ve been saving up money this whole time and will be buying my first home in about 4-5 months but honestly I feel like a loser/failure for living here this long. Srs feel like my parents are disappointed that I’m not married with kids and out on my own by now. Even driving home from work I’m like damn all the neighbors probably think I’m a piece of chit for being here so long. Can’t wait to move and have my own space...

Yes. I’m not late in my late 20’s, but its only because they need someone to take care of them. Cook, clean, shop, etc. They believe the children are allowed to stay with the parents if their not married. I agree with it tbh.

Wouldn’t have an issue if my kids (when I have some) wanted to stay until they save for a place.

Havent lived with my parent since 18, but totally would have if I needed to/wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to save. If I went to college after high school, I would've been class of 2009 and gotten royally fukked upon graduating like so many of my peers, would prob STILL be living with my mom lul (no hate to 30+ peeps that are, do you boo boo)

Parking ranges from $30k to $80k for a parking spot in the garage (yeah, you read that right, for one spot and not even necessarily level A-B, could be E)
Locker ranges from $5k to $10k
Upgrades can be like $500 for a pot light installation or $1200 for a better sink or $XX for better appliance, it really ranges, your choice of tiles, flooring, etc.
Closing costs for 1br are usually capped at $7500 but each developer is different, but it's important to note that doesn't cap everything. There are a lot of stupid "taxes" and hidden fees. If you're buying a new construction condo,take your document to a lawyer and have them go through the Adjustments and negotiate the caps.Bolded because this is such an important takeaway imo.

• Pretending to be "independant" when really... you had a sh*t home life and bad relationship with parents and need to validate your chit moves in life.
